Things she already has: Trike, water table, baby pool, sandbox. She also has a "train table" and a kitchen for indoor use. I'm kind of stumped on what to tell my parents to get our daughter for her birthday. We have decided not to get her a play house.....long story...don't ask....

@smurfette: good idea on the easel and art supplies. We have an old easel in the attic we bought a long time ago that we could bring down for her to use with all the supplies.......now I feel like our kid is slightly spoiled...haha.

LO got a furnished Hape dollhouse for Christmas, as well as some a dollhouse family and then a friend got her the garden set and the nursery set. It has been a big hit over the last 6 months.

I know lots of people HATE trampolines but my Dad got my DS one when he was 2 and it gets used all the time - he is 5.5 now - great for getting out energy especially in the cold months!

I like the swim class idea. It's going to be wayyyyy too hot there to spend time outside anyway.
The only other outdoor toy I would want is a slide/swing.

I second Mrs Jazz - a nice convertible toddler scooter seems to be the standard "big" second birthday gift among my LO'a friends. The micro mini and y-glider models with optional seats are really popular,
The big Hape dollhouse Pancakes mentioned is also AMAZING - I don't know anyone who owns it due to space (gotta love city living), but all the kiddos I know flock to the one set up in our neighborhood coffee shop's kids corner. I think getting it furnished & with dolls would go over budget, but you could add sets to it later or encourage others to get various "rooms" as supplemental gifts
