Uniform everyday!
When DD was in pre-k Fridays were casual days. She usually wore dresses with leggings/shorts underneath.

We have some stretchy waist band jeans from Boden and Hanna Anderson, long sleeved t shirts, and sweaters. In the winter she will probably wear leggings/stretchy pants or sweat pants- they go outside a lot and i think jeans are comfortable under snow pants. Also, my 3.5 year old needs pants she can do herself for potty. So, we keep it simple.i did have fun picking out t shirts from Hanna a though!

Dress, shorts, sandals.

Dresses with leggings underneath (she'll often wear the dresses until they are too short and look more like tunics!) are pretty standard. Or just standard shirt (t-shirt/long sleeve) with leggings or jeggings. She's been pretty anti-denim, but I didn't really like her having to worry about buttons anyways. Gap or Old Navy usually have some elastic waist jeggings that look like jeans but softer in black, gray, pattern/stripe, etc.

I also got her a couple skirts (a corduroy one, a tulle one) that she likes layering over her leggings. I got them in pretty basic colors (teal, off white) so that they match or at least look good in most combinations!

She picks out what she wears, though, so sometimes it's cute and sometimes it's bag-lady-esque

Cute comfy play clothes. They have relatively free access to paint, play doh, etc., so the teachers advised against anything that can't get dirty.

Leggings or sweater tights with a tunic or dress. She doesn't like jeans (other than super soft, stretchy jeggings).

In the summer she wears a dress with cartwheel shorts, or a scooter skirt and top.

Leggings, skirts, tunics, dresses, and tshirts. She hates jeans and won't wear them.

Comfortable play clothes. She wears a lot of Circo and Cat and Jack to preschool (mostly the knit shorts and cotton shirts). I also love the Gap activewear line for toddlers and will often send her in that.

DD1 (almost 4) she wears cotton dresses with leggings. Last year I bought a ton of jeggings/shirts and she still wore the same 5 dresses. So this fall I bought her 12 dresses and just as many leggings to alternate and make her happy.

DD2: she wears leggings and shirts, and some tunic/leggings combos.

Neither of my girls wear jeans either, they hate them so it's lots of soft cotton around here. I think they look cute but are comfortable and that is most important to me.
