I love my DH's grandmother. She is 96 years old and is smart and spunky as anything. What drives me crazy but makes me laugh too is some of her parenting advice. Here are some good ones:
- drinking beer will make your milk come in better
- don't swaddle the baby she needs to be able to move
- you are doing a good job keeping her ears flat (apparently when the ears fold down when holding the baby that makes the ears stick out?)
- (and last night...) you need to be giving that baby water!! She's thirsty! (No she is BF)

Any crazy parenting advice from older generations?
