    It's sounds like it'll be really good! It's been a while since I read Firefly Lane. I'll probably reread it before picking up the new book.

    it's soooo hard to narrow down my faves, but here are a few (I'm all over the place with genres):

    Wolf Hall
    Devil in a White City
    Harry Potter books
    Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay
    Other Boleyn Girl
    Little Women
    The Firm (I read most of grishams books, this was my fave)

    @Lozza: i also tried so hard to love Gatsby - i may try to read again (third time)... but I just can't get into it.

    I also really love a few books written by journalists about a certain topic/period in history, most notably Randy Shilts' "And the Band Played On" and David Halberstam's "The Children."

    harry potter was a great series. I really like insurgent and the hunger games too. I read a lot so it is hard to give you my favorites. For fun reading I really like the stephanie plum series and the hannah swensen series.
