We're amused but not surprised that J is crazy about dogs...only wants to find the dog in books...and the only word and sign he uses/responds to consistently is "olly" and the sign for dog.

L LOVES our dog too!! She squeals and smiles every time she sees him! She seems to like furry things in general because she had the same reaction to Chewbacca and Ewoks when we watched Star Wars lol. She also loves looking at photos of animals and can just stare for lengthy periods.

oh gosh. I don't know if it was the first, but she was obsessed with bubble guppies pretty early on.
DD2 is 14 months and she is currently obsessed with turning on and off lightswitches. and building duplos.

The fan in our bedroom. She was fascinated by it from about 6 weeks until maybe 4 or 5 months.

Books, lots and lots of books, for both my girls. My smallest, who turns 1 tomorrow (!!!) has been bringing me piles of books and plopping down in my lap for a few months now, lately with more intensity.

Trucks! And cleaning. He loves helping me "clean" windows and walks around with his toy broom saying "dirt" lol. He definitely takes after my husband.

@LBee: Same here! My LO has been obsessed with lights for months. He even points out lamps and light fixtured out in books haahaa. Although now Elmo seems to be taking over...
