I have been on hold with Walt Disney World Resort for 2+ hours today. Still waiting.....I feel committed at this point.

Wow thats crazy! Did you get lost somewhere? At that point I would hang up and try again.

@Thehistoryofus: I didn't hang up, but I've been trying to get through on other lines. I can't even get it to ring. It keeps telling me that "all the circuits are busy."

@bree72: Wow that is crazy. If you are online, do they have that online chat feature? I have found that to be really helpful with other companies.

Oh my! That's a long time! It reminds me of the episode of friends when phoebe is on hold for a really long time.

I was on hold with EDD for almost 2 hours once...but I had to wait to speak to someone about my short term disability for maternity leave!

@bree72: that reminds me of that friends episode where Phoebe stays on hold for like a whole day.
I tried to get on the phone with the DMV once and discovered that their hold music times out at exactly 27 minutes and 11 seconds. It would time out and hang up on me. Over and over again. I finally just sent in a letter and paid the ticket I was calling about. Ugh.
I used to stay on hold for unemployment for hours. They have designated days you can call according to the first letter of your last name. I'd call at exactly 8:00am and be on hold for hours. I used to place the call then fall back asleep with the phone on speakerphone right by my ear!

I was JUST on hold with the insurance company for over 30 minutes. So annoying.
