Does my baby count? Medical bills post insurance were just over $4,000.

Ooh... hmm... My mom purchased my wedding dress which was around $650, so I guess that doesn't count. I think it would have to be a Burberry handbag I got at the outlet for around $500. Or one of our laptops or our 42 inch tv, or couches, but those are more joint purchases.

My wedding dress, which was a lot. But a few months later, my generous aunt insisted on paying for it so she wrote me a check for that amount. Does that count? If not, then it was a Chanel purse. I justify all my handbag purchases by telling myself I will one day pass them down to my daughter. Good thing baby #1 is a girl - phew!

Oh and my Laptop too -- my Mac Pro, which I also had to replace in less than 2yrs.

My mac. I don't even know what kind it is. A big white flatscreen. It's getting outdated though...I've been too chintzy to upgrade to Leopard/Lion.

My laptop a few years back, it was $990. This whole time I thought it was my DSLR until I checked my emails - I'm a better sale shopper than I gave myself credit for!!!

I got breast implants about 5 years ago. Money well spent!

My macbook - $1200. I can't think of anything else even close. I don't really spend money on shoes/clothes/bags. The most I've spent on a bag was $50 for my messenger bag, and on shoes it was $100 on running sneakers.

Ooohh.. my mountain bike - $800. Best purchase ever and my most prized possession. Can't believe I forgot about it, except that I didn't ride last year since I just had DS and the year before I was pregnant, so I only rode a few times in early summer.

yikes, i'm usually pretty frugal when it comes to "unnecessary" purchases...but when it comes to that special "big ticket" item...I splurge. My wedding dress was roughly $4000 w/o alterations. i say again, yikes. I don't like to admit that.

My Marisa 815 wedding gown. After taxes, alterations and a rush fee....well over $2500. But I wore it for 8 glorious hours!

Probably the livingroom furniture I bought on Saturday- I would normally consider this a joint purchase, but I really wanted it, and my husband didn't care! It totalled a little over 2,000 My preggo belly needed somewhere more comfy to crash at the end of the day.

Man, I don't think I have ever bought anything big for myself! I am blessed to have gotten things like jewelry and my computer from my parents and DH. I guess the biggest thing we've purchased was our couch, which was originally $1200 but we got on Craigslist for $350!

I rarely buy anything, let alone big things. The most I ever spent on myself was a trip to Australia and New Zealand with my sister. I saved up all summer long for that trip!

I am pretty sure it was my Vera Wang wedding dress!
