Re-tile the entire house because the builders didn't put it down correctly in the first place.

DH car needs a major tune up. Probably around $2k which isn't a ton but it's just a boring work car.

@grizz: What is it with Jeeps and their windows? The driver side window motor broke on our old Jeep Cherokee, and it was going to cost at least $500 to replace it. It was a two-door sport model and those are rare, so the part cost A LOT.

We need to replace the door between our garage and house since it's not to code or fire safe. We also need new windows, but the windows are huge and the quote we got for just two windows was $2600.

Roof. Nothing is broken or leaking yet, but, everyone who goes up on it (also dumping huge wads of money to fix gutter problems and chimney problems) keeps remarking that we're lucky that's the case.

@Penny Lane: ack to the rates! And where we live is comparatively expensive

Our next big spend is selling our house and the money we need to spend to get it in a saleable condition so we can move in January.

We need a new front door including the framing and side windows. I haven't gotten an estimate yet because I'm dreading the price. I'd rather buy holiday gifts.

Car insurance. Small potatoes compared to a lot on the list. It just feels like I paid it not that long ago.

We need new windows and a new roof. Our furnace is also super old, and will probably need replaced next year. I'm hoping to put all of this off until next year...

@Pepper: Eeeeek, we put in new windows before we moved in and I was shocked at the price!

@autumnlove: I've heard it's sooo expensive. The windows are drafty and original to the house. We're planning on doing each side of the house separately. I don't think we could afford all of them at once!

Ug possibly a new car. Mine is on the fritz. I just dropped over $700 in the past couple months to fix some issues and now it's got this problem where the alarm keeps going off. We also need a new bed but a reliable car where I can lock the door is a bit higher on the list.

We need to fix the grading on one side of our house and have someone come out to look at our chimney.

My husband just got $5k LASIK surgery and wants a $6500 UTV.

Our tax bill. I'm dreading preparing our tax return this year. We WH a ton and I know we will owe thanks to all the new Obamacare taxes.
