My old bosses (with the 7 kids) got in a screaming match over laundry. One day the dad got tired of looking at the piles of laundry so he decided to run a few loads. She came home to him folding clothes and she freaked out. She has a very specific way of doing things and was angry that he touch her laundry. HOW DARE HE TOUCH THE LAUNDRY AND TRY TO HELP OUT AROUND THE HOUSE! It was very hilarious to watch from the couch.

Our dumbest fight was when we were first married. DH farted under the covers and pulled them over my head, saying "Goodnight my little bean burrito!" I have a serious fart phobia, and he's lucky he didn't die that night.

We fought over how to cook shrimp before and it got ugly " Oh you think you know it all!", "if you're such a great cook, then get off of your ass and cook!" LOLLLL. It was so silly, we laughed about it the next day.

We watched this show about this unsolvable magic trick that even fooled "experts". DH was trying to convince me he figured out how it was done and I was saying that there is no way he figured it out when even the magic expert people didn't lol.

Recently, we've had a spat of silly fights. We fought over toilet paper, why there was none in the bathroom, and how it was my fault apparently. The man can't grab tp himself. I got toilet paper holders for both bathrooms, so it's super visible that toilet paper is there.

Actually my ex-BF and i got in a HUGE FIGHT once about if the West Wing of the White House is physically on the west side. Like, enormous huge screaming match.

The answer? We were both right. In the US, its the same. In the UK, they are different.

we got in a HUGE spat recently because he snapped at me for leaving a tissue in my pocket of pants he washed. I overreacted because I was upset that he was overreacting (it wasn't a big deal: all the bits of tissue came off in the dryer...). And then when we were talking it through, he was looking at his cell phone and I was so upset that he wasn't even paying attention to me that I took his phone and threw it onto our bed. Whoops.

We got in a fight about flossing teeth. He's a floss Nazi and sometimes I forget to floss and he hounds me about it. He'll follow me around with floss and it drives me nuts. One day we got in a fight about it and he said I must not love him as much as he loves me because by not flossing I'm going to die early of heart disease and leave him alone.

I had had a really rough day & had drank 1/2 a bottle of wine....we went to a friends house for game night & he had been making rude/silly comments toward me all night & the combination of alcohol & already being aggravated something he said set me off, I threw my game piece at him (the one & only time I d ever thrown anything at him) & left the friends house. I really embarrassed myself (& him!) that day but thankfully our friends have a sense of humor. lol

It wasn't with my husband, but our close friends and I (four couples total) got in a HUGE discussion/argument about how people may or may not perceive colors. It was a drop down, drag out fight that went on for hours - two couples against two couples. Nothing was ever resolved and now we joke about the conversation that must not be named.

DH deleted someone off the DVR, he finished watching and I hadn't.

@mjane: lol the worst part is neither of us can remember why we were arguing because we both agreed that brad was the person with a commitment, so he takes the blame. Angelina isn't blameless, but he gets more. I think then we got into some hypothetical about "what if Jen and Angelina were friends" and I said that in that case Angelina held equal blame because then she too had a commitment to Jen.
Eta: I remember! I said that brad was to blame completely, and that although immoral, Angelina couldn't be "blamed" because she had no responsibility to Jen or brad/jens relationship. I think my husband was saying that there is a social obligation to respect committed relationships, so she held some blame.
We got pretty existential with it. Like I said: alcohol was involved. -
We got in a huge fight that started with DH upset that I leave the little tops to breastmilk storage bags on the counter!

We got into a really big fight about who was going to wash a muffin tin. And by wash I mean, transport it the 3 feet from the counter to the dishwasher. Like, a BIG FIGHT. lol

@grizz: DH has been warned MANY times that dutch ovening me is grounds for getting kicked in the nuts. Period. As far as I am concerned, they are equally terrible to do to someone. He really wants to do it, but he knows I'm serious. Farts gross me out SO bad. I would probably wind up throwing up if he ever did it.

Omg, today we were fighting about where to put a bookshelf. I wanted it 6 inches more to the left of where he put it. So stupid, but while it was happening we both had to leave the room, lol.
I'll move it myself in a few days, and I doubt he'll even notice. I should have just done that in the first place.
