I guess Olive and Charlie have "cute" names. Charlie is Charlie and not Charles.
What is your LO's name theme?

@Mrs. Bee: hehe. Charlies! I know you meant to type "Charles" but of course the I got in there because you're so used to typing "Charlie"! in fact it just happened to me as well and I had to backspace... see? Charlies.
Ours would have to be, I guess, classic! Robert.

I'll tell you in a month or so. It came to us after we named her but we're both really happy with her name "theme."

We only have one but I guess I'd say classic. Her name is Charlotte.

I'm not sure what the theme would be. Her name is Irish, derived from a surname, and means "warrior." I didn't want a super girly name for her. I would say it's a strong name which I also find elegant. DD's name is Sloane

I'm not sure. Her name is Olivia.
@looch: that's awesome! I just tried to check on mine, but it doesn't give a theme. boo.

I think our theme is "old/1800s"...The last time LO's name was deemed popular was in the late 1800s. It's an old lady name.

@sorrycharlie: No worries! I have the book open, Olivia is Antique Charm, Shakespearean, Lacy & Lissome. Olive is Charms and Graces, Ladies and Gentlemen.

@looch: oooh those are pretty neat! I like antique charm and Shakespearean...not sure what lacy & lissome is, though!

@sorrycharlie: According to the book, it "captures a particular melodious slice of the feminine spectrum...The names are age old romantic and grow up nicely."

Both her name and my name are derived from different parts of the same longer name.

Girl name is more masculine as it's a male surname (Emerson), and our boy name I would say is more modern (Nolan)
