I'm not sure what the theme would be. Her name is Irish, derived from a surname, and means "warrior." I didn't want a super girly name for her. I would say it's a strong name which I also find elegant. DD's name is Sloane

@sorrycharlie: No worries! I have the book open, Olivia is Antique Charm, Shakespearean, Lacy & Lissome. Olive is Charms and Graces, Ladies and Gentlemen.

Both her name and my name are derived from different parts of the same longer name.

Girl name is more masculine as it's a male surname (Emerson), and our boy name I would say is more modern (Nolan)
