We rent and have our car paid off. Student loans though...are the worst. DH went back to grad school a few years ago, and while it was well-worth it, we have almost $100K in loans still to pay : /

So sad that I am in nearly the top of this poll, and nearly the bottom of the "savings" poll. But DH and I have a mortgage, one car loan, a bit of wedding left to pay off, and we both have student loans, Fabulous... meh.

Just one monster mortgage...paying it off quick as I can though!

Really we just have our mortgage and less than 20k in student loans (down from 150k... I'm hugely proud of that achievement!)

We have no mortgage but we do have student loans, one car payment and a couple CCs.

None. But we don't own a house yet so we don't have a mortgage. SO just paid off his student loans from undergrad and both of our cars are paid off. We pay off our credit card every month.

We might have to take out student loans for SO for grad school soon though; it depends on whether or not he gets a TA position.

we rent so no mortgage, car is payed off, we pay off our CC's every month, but my DH's law school loans are 100+k and my student loans are 30k. when we buy a house (hopefully soon) we will be over $500K, yikes!!!!

Less than 60k including our car (paying off in September!) house and student loans. Zero in CC debt, those aren't allowed in our house.

None. We still rent right now and have no student loans or any other debt. We also don't have a lot of savings/cash flow though so it is a strange place to be!

We have car payments and student loans, but as of recently our assets are greater than the debt so we consider ourselves out of debt. That will change if we buy a house next year though!

We have around 50k. Most of that are my student loans and then about 1k in credit cards and 3k in personal loans. Talk to me in about a year though when we will likely have a business loan and a mortgage and probably a car note to add to that list. aaaaaah, debt. It's the American way...ugh.

DH has some student loans, we have about 4k credit card and a 4k car loan. So I think less than 30k total

We technically have no recorded debt, but we do owe a friend about 7k because he bought our car for us so we wouldn't have to pay interest.

Mortgage of 250k plus a 40k car loan...

    Just $148,000 on our mortgage.

Yikes. We don't have car loans or credit card debt. We have very minimal school loans (<5k), but our mortgage puts us in the 300-400k debt bracket.

Personally I have about 5k in student loans...which will be added to in the next two years.

DH has about 30k in student loans.

Just our mortgage, but were trying to move up to a house from a Condo so that will increase. Thankfully our student loans are gone but we are older.

We just have our mortgage and cars. Total it is around 80 I believe. Not to bad our unmanageable. We got lucky and don't have any school loans.

Mortgage, 1 car loan, and sadly some recent cc debt from our dogs week long stay in the hospital.

we make payments on mortgage and car, but we have the cash to back them and actually have a positive net worth, so I don't really consider it debt anymore.

Our mortgage is $146k, my student loans are $14k, and DH has $170k (ugh, law school).

We don't have student loans or car loans. Our NYC mortgage definitely puts us north of the highest end of the scale. I barely even think about the mortgage debt tbh, in NYC everything is so expensive one just becomes desensitized.

$200ish mortgage, $5k car. Nothing else, luckily.

Still, thinking of over $200k in debt is horrifying.

For me, I have about 30k in student loans. As a couple we have a mortgage which adds on about another 100k.

Our biggest debt is my student loans which are about $20K at this point. The good thing is that in NZ these are interest-free as long as your main residence is in the country. Other than that, we have about 2K between the very small credit card we have and what we have left to pay on the car loan. We have the savings to pay those off tomorrow if we choose so I don't feel too bad.
The housing market is ridiculous at the moment so we're not looking at mortgages until after LO is here and at preschool so I can go back to work.
