Toddler sleep! My almost-3year old is killing me with her wakings and bedtime battles. She was a perfect sleeper up until two months ago. Oy.

Whining and tantrums. Its so new to be and I just don't know how to react!

Whining. And just recently, my oldest has gotten super competitive (kind of mean about it too, ugh).

Sleep as well. LO sleeps through the night, but is waking up SO early everyday. Today it was 4:38 am.

5 teeth coming in at once. G had 2 teeth on his first birthday (less than 2 weeks ago), and there are currently 5 new ones poking through or about to poke through. The past few days (and nights) have been ROUGH.

Poopy diapers. Both of my kids must be teething because they are having SO many of the grossest teething poops. It's so disgusting. I think I changed 9 or 10 of them yesterday =/

I am having a rough dayweekmonth. I am so tired, house is a mess, her eating is taking forever and she is up a lot at night. Just exhausted right now.

@Rubies: noooooo!!! What happened to her sleep?!?! Is she still taking a nap? My friend had her 3.5 year old drop her nap bc bedtime was becoming such a battle. She said it completely changed bedtime and no more battles.

Eating (lo is a fussypants) and when I tell her "no" - she's likes to hit in response OR burst into tears.

2 under 2 with no predictable naps, it is impossible to plan anything. If someone asks me what I did today (everyday) I can honestly say I have no idea. Everyday is a cycle of putting one of them down to sleep and fighting about it. Somewhere in there I feed the toddler and myself. There has been no beach trips, no zoo, no nothing because one of them is always tired or tantruming. They do not sleep in the car together, one of them is usually crying, they do not stroller nap.

The most random things make her afraid these days. Like books or toys she used to love. She will scream at me to put them back and I don't know why she's scared of them all of a sudden. Not really a nightmare, but more confusing. Is this normal behavior? She's almost 2.5.

Sleep. Bedtime in particular. She flat out refuses lately and it's caused a lot of tears on both of our parts

@Smurfette: Pickiness here, too. My kid will eat about 5 different foods consistently - otherwise he's pitching it off his high chair or smashing it in his fingers with pursed lips. Lovely.
Also, fevers from teething. Poor baby.

Sleep! She always has one amazing stretch of sleep, between 4-10 hours (huge range I know!) but she basically won't fall back asleep for more than an hour after if she wakes up after 3ish. And I pump to up my supply after she eats and/or if I wake up before her engorged so my sleep is cut shorter. So like last night, I was up at 2 to pump, and then she woke up at 3:30, back up at 5, then back up at 7:30. So I only got about 2 hours combined after 2! Oh, and then she fights naps like crazy. She sleeps well in the stroller but that means I'm walking instead of napping too, plus it is soooo hot outside I'm melting plus it seems too hot for her

Our 2.5 year old is going through a phase (hopefully) of not listening and when we try to discipline he laughs at us! Not fun!

Weird wake ups in the night, I'm too pregnant for it and so worn out.

@rahlyrah: Sometimes I wonder! After all, they do have the same birthday and are both big for their age and too darn adorable for their own good!

Sleep. Omg i need more than one full night of sleep at a time. Why is my 16 month old still not sleeping 11 hours???

Sleep. By far. I think I will have to lie down with her for every nap and bedtime until she's five. I think I screwed up somewhere along the way

Fighting my daughter's diarrhea that she has had for over 2 weeks now @_@ I would never think I would miss her regular log-poos so much.

Baby - sleep. He is so unpredictable. I never know whether it will be one wakeup or four. He has a snotty nose right now so the past few nights have been every couple hours. I am barely functioning.
3-year-old - Potty training and other tasks that require some independence, like trying to dress himself. He is just not having it, yet will battle us to the death to do more inconsequential things (like squeezing toothpaste) himself.

Sleep!! Fighting sleep, even if she's dead tired. I will never, ever understand it.
