I SAH and am also a consultant for my family business- but it's only about 10 hours a month.

Right now I'm SAH (for the last 20 months) but in two weeks I'll be heading back to work full time out of the house.

I was working PT from home while staying home with my kids but since getting pregnant again I've been too tired this month to do anything but the necessities so I've scaled back and am no longer working 2 hours a day. I probably will again at some point though.

Working from home part time until I find something full time! (Yall, typing that is so scary to me! Talk me down! )

This question is complicated for me since I'm a phd student LO is only in daycare part-time, and I balance writing my dissertation with teaching and a couple small admin positions (conference organizing mostly). And it's paid

I WOH full time. I feel pretty fortunate that I'm (usually) happy with my job and my work status.

Mix of WAH, the office and random places I have to take business trips to all that while part time.

I WAH almost full time. Probably 35ish hours/week, give or take.

SAH until we're done having kids & the last one is in preschool (then I plan to go back to work part time)

I'm a WOHM, but I have the ability to work from home, if I have to. I'm not very productive at home so I prefer to go work.

Mat leave until the first then SAHM until I figure out how much work I can take on.

I'm a part time work at home mom, I work anywhere from 20 - 40 hours a week depending on what's going on personally. I'm self employed and work for two partners. I'm tax CPA.

I voted "on vacation until..." I just graduated nursing school (!!!!), and had a job interview Monday that would have me start in February, contingent on passing my boards in January! It's not really a vacation lol, I'll still have to be studying for the nclex.

SAHM contemplating her next move ... Would love to work part time, either in or out of the home, but with #2 on the way, no idea how feasible that is ...

@pinkcupcake: i think I'm remembering correctly that you were an attorney like me. Like you I was SAH when I had DD1 and thought I would be home with DD2 and then contemplating my next move but life isn't always so nicely laid out. Now we're trying for baby #3 and so the timeline for figuring out what's next is pushed out farther

@sandy: best wishes to you as you move forward, and I hope your plans for #3 are quickly realized Yes, I am an attorney (would rather not go back to law if possible!) and since we were having such a hard time conceiving #2 (over 2 years), I had made up my mind that I would go back to work and and was content with my one. But right when I accepted it all, I got pregnant and now I'm about 12 weeks along. I honestly have no idea what to do. It seems futile to look for a job when I'm gonna be out on leave again in 6 months (and honestly, Idk if I'll wanna go back to work after having #2, at least for the first six months - year). Ahh. Decisions, decisions. And no clue what to do -.-
