A minivan, SUV or stationwagon?
I've professed my love for the stationwagon many a time, and it still remains my dream family car. My dad had an old Buick stationwagon where the back folded out to a seat facing the back window. My brother and I always sat there and it was awesome. If only they still made them like that...
One day a stationwagon shall be mine!

I drive a BMW X3, which I love, but with 2 largeish dogs and hopefully (at least) 2 future-children, I think we are doomed to a minivan in the future.

I love the Lexus crossover suv. I think it's the Lexus RX. Being more realistic would be the Nissan murano.

We currently have one car an Audi A4. When we add a car, my dream car is the Mercedes E350 station wagon. But, I think we'll get the Honda CRV, which is more reasonable of a kid car

I just got my dream family car in August, a 2011 Subaru Forester. Kind of a SUV/Wagon hybrid.

I love tahoes too! My husband used to have one until gas skyrocketed and it was so nice. I love how big they are inside.

@lemondrop: Me too! Bought my dream family car last spring -- also a Subaru Forrester. Was pregnant 3 months later w/ our first DH seems to be coveting a luxury Volvo wagon right now... or a BMW SUV. I have to keep reminding him that we already own our family car!

Mine is a Subaru Outback or, if we have more than 2 or 3 kids, a Honda Pilot. We need an SUV because of the dogs. Instead, we're probably getting a Honda CR-V within the next couple of months because as of now, with two sedans, we wouldn't be able to go anywhere with the dogs and the baby.
