Just Max, or maybe Maxwell. The rest, IMHO, dive into "pretentious" territory reaaaaaaaal quick.

I used to nanny for an adorable Maximus... He was about 5 lbs heavier than his twin brother, so it seemed fitting.

@MrsMccarthy: @SugarplumsMom: How would you pronounce it? My friend is a Maximilian and he says it like Max-milian. Maxim-ilian?

@autumnlove: I knew a Maximilian and he pronounced it "Max-eh-million." Could be regional!

When I hear Maximilian I hear Max-a-million which sounds like a silly made up name to me! Nothing against the name but for some reason I just can't take it seriously. Lol I know that's just my one silly opinion and mean no offense to anyone with that name or child with that name whatsoever.
I like Maximus best!

Maxwell, we have a friend who just used it so we can only use it as a middle name.

Max or Maxwell here too. Or maybe Maximus too, I just like the other two better.

Maximilian has been on our list for a while! I've liked it since high school... just not sure since Max is pretty popular and it would mean 3 "M"s in the family!

Maximus sounds strong and powerful to me, that's the one I like best!

Maximus. It was actually a runner up name for our son but didn't feel right after the 20 week ultrasound. Still, I love that name!
