I got pregnant with J when I was 21. He was very much planned, wanted and loved... But after being a mom I realize that I wish I had waited and done a few more things before having kids! I wish I could still have J though 
So I think for myself the best age to have a child would have been maybe 28?

I had dd at the age of 27 and I feel like it was a good time. I had timd to explore life, travel, and do some "selfish" things before having a baby.

I'll have my first at 24 and I think that's perfect for me. I'd like to be finished having kids by the time I'm 30.

@Mrs. Pen: I wish the same. I think 28 would have been perfect and that was my plan before having children. Although, when B and E are in college, DH and I will have so much time to ourselves!

Had E at 24. Hope to be done with all 4 kids by 30! Maybe 32 at the latest. I really do want to go back to work and invest in my career, once my kids are off to school!

I had my LO at 30, and if there were no reproductive issues to think about, I would have loved to push it off to 40 and had more time for traveling and doing things for myself!

I'm 25 and pregnant with our first. 25 always sounded like a good age to me, but I do sometimes wish I'd had more time to "be young." We'll see how I feel after she's here!

I got pregnant at 25, will be having her at 26, and I think it was the perfect age for me. I do wish we had had the finances to take a huge trip, but that would have put off TTC for at least a couple years, and now we just plan on going on our big trip for our 5th anniversary! I think it's working out well

Early 30's. I kind of wish we started earlier, but at the same time, I know we weren't ready then. Having your first in your mid 30's makes it a little tricky when it comes to figuring out if you want another.

I got pregnant with A at 28 and pregnant with #2 at 29. I think I would have liked to start a year or two earlier, but no complaints!

I had my first at 32 and this next one will come along when I'm 34. I think it was the perfect age - old enough where I've done everything I want and have absolutely no regrets, but young enough where I'm still healthy and in great shape, making pregnancy and recovery a breeze. I'm glad I didn't have kids any earlier as I think I would have regretted giving up that time to live my life for me, and me alone.

I was 27. I didn't have a right age, just a right life stage. I was done with college, had some work experience in my field, finally knew what I wanted to be when I grew up. And I felt very ready. It was the perfect time for me.

My perfect age was 32. That would have been lovely! I had LO at 33, but that was 2 weeks before my 34th so 2 years behind my perfect age...not a big difference but I definitely felt so much younger then.

My son was born when I was 35. Much older than I ever thought, but honestly, I wouldn't change anything about my life and how I have lived it. For me, having a child any younger would have been a disaster.

My ideal age would have been 34 or 35 as I had way too much I wanted to do, and I didn't know for sure if I wanted kids anyway. However, I stopped taking pills since 31, and didn't get pregnant until 36. So I was just 1 year off (although there was a lot of uncertainty, frustration, sadness and anxiety between 31-36 thinking I won't be able to have a child ever).
Thinking back, the perfect age would have been 32. I barely have enough energy to run after LO now!

I want to be done having babies before 30. I started REALLY young (17), but my life is still on the path I wanted. I had LO #2 at 24. I want #3 in the next 2 years. I have no regrets!

Had DS at 25 and thought it was a good time, then. But, now I still feel ready for more kids at almost 32. I'd like to be done by 35 though. DH wants be be done before HE is 35, which is a year before me, so I guess we'll be done when I'm 34.

I was 22 when lo was born. I graduated from college with a Bachelors in Accounting at 19, got my CPA license at 20, and got married at 21. I think the timing was great, I didn't want to wait any longer! I couldn't imagine anything else I'd rather do.

Was ready & started trying at 27, had issues so I'll be 32 when they arrive. By my late 20's we had traveled, been established & got most of our selfishness out of the way.

I was 30 when LO was born, and if my husband was my age I/we would have waited a few more years. I wasn't interested in having kids before 30, my 20's were for me. Maybe it's selfish, but I wanted to do "me" things first, not plan to get back to them after my kids are in school, older, etc. haha, I don't like delayed gratification!

I'm 27 and currently pregnant. Growing up, I always wanted to be married by 26, LO #1 by 28, and LO #2 by 30. Why? No idea! Now that I think about it, I would have liked TTC a bit earlier since it took us longer to conceive, but everything happens for a reason so I'm happy with where we're at!

I will be 27 and DH will be 34 with our first LO. I feel like the timing is right because we have careers and I have been able to do a lot of great things during college and with DH since we have been together. I feel like I will always want to do more, but that feeling will never go away. We will wait a few more years before adding on, but DH does not want to be 40 with a newborn, and I don't blame him!

I'm not sure. It would have been nice to do a few more fun things before I had kids, had more alone time with Farmer Man, but I wasn't the person I am now without my kids. I'm not sure I would have had the confidence and the self-respect go out and do the things I kinda wish now that I would have done. But my first kid will graduate when I'm 38, I could be well on my way to an empty nest by the time I'm 45 and everybody knows you've got lots of life left after that, so yeah. I'll have my kids in my 20s, when I have the energy to run around with them and go have my fun when I'm "old" and wise, lol.
