My LO was born August 29th, wow that was a hot summer. It was record breaking temps just about everyday. I wouldn't mind a holiday baby November/December but wouldn't mind an early summer baby either May/June

My LO was born in mid-June and the timing was just about right. I delivered before it got too hot outside and it was great living in dresses and stretchy skirts all summer since I couldn't fit into a lot of my normal clothes right away. One of my co-workers also pointed out having a baby in June is perfect since it's 6 months away from the holidays so you don't have to worry about a bunch of presents at once!
I think next time we'll try to have a baby in April or May as I would have preferred to be able to get some more walks in outside with a newborn before it got too hot. Some days I felt stuck in the house if it was too humid.

I'm having a Nov baby and even though I wasn't at my biggest; the summer heatwave weeks were kind of unbearable!
Next time I'd like to shoot for a spring baby!

We're going to have our first in Feb, which happens to be what I felt would be ideal for our lives/climate. Work isn't too busy right around then and I always feel like the "light is at the end of tunnel" with winter coming to an end. So it gives a couple months to hibernate in the freezing cold with babe. Then when I'm guessing I'll be feeling good, spring will be here so we can get out for tons of walks! Summer will be nice because the baby will start doing things rather than eat, sleep, poo repeat

I am a teacher and had my baby the first week of school! Great because I had a tough pregnancy and was off during the summer...I think I would have had to use a lot of my days had I had him earlier in the year. But...a summer baby would be GREAT to spend more time at home with!

DS was born on September 3rd. I was pregnant for the entire miserable Georgia summer. It was soooo HOT! The only upside was that it was perfect for being in the pool! Ideally, I think I would like having a winter or spring baby.

i'm really happy with our timing. our baby girl is due mid-february. it's cooling down now that i'm getting good and pregnant, which i'm so thankful for -- i could not have handled this summer's heat as a huge prego. i'm happy she'll be a few months old by next summer, so we can take her to the pool and beach all summer!

LO was born in June, which is the start of winter here. Of course Queensland winter is quite mild (temps in the 70s every day, lows in the 50s) so I really liked it. I hate the heat so I don't think I would have gone out nearly as much had she been born in summer. With winter, we just throw an extra blanket in the pram and we're good to go.
I think early spring or late winter is the ideal time to have a baby but when we go for #2, we'll take what we can get!

I haven't had our baby yet (due the 23rd), but I am nervous about being trapped in the house and people wanting to visit and being sick with cold season. I really didn't think being pregnant during the heat was that awful, at least not because of the heat! I liked being able to wear skirts & dresses instead of pants.
I am happy that baby will be born in the same calendar year as my pregnancy started for high deductible reasons though

@lolabee: I'm due in Feb too and I feel the same way. The weather will make me not feel so bad about staying mostly inside with the baby for a while. I am also excited because by the time the holidays roll around again the baby will be old enough to enjoy them a bit!

I had a February baby and liked it for the most part but I think next time I would like to have a summer baby. Be mostly pregnant in the spring would be nice. I didn't mind being pg in the winter, but clothes were really difficult.

LO was born in March and I loved it. I wanted to have another March/April baby this time, but it didn't work out that way. I think I'd be happy with Oct/Nov, too.

With both of our work schedules, June/July works best, but that is also when we have ALL of our birthdays and our anniversary. My birthday and LO's b-day are w/in 2 weeks of each other in June, then 2 weeks after that is our anniversary, and then DH's b-day. It is a crazy month of celebrations!

Mine was also born at the beginning of April and I loved it. I did NOT love the extra lbs hanging around in the Summer following though.

Mine 's due end of March, which will be perfect! It'll still be cold for the first month or so, and then it will warm up and be plenty nice enough to open up all the windows and get outside.
