I'd love to be work from home! I feel like I'm so much more productive that way. I'd still work 40 hours since I need the benefits and pay, but at my own schedule. For example, if I had a bunch of data on hand, I'd work more hours that day vs a slower day when I'm waiting on data.

I'd love to work part-time, maybe 27-32 hours a week. Right now I work 9 hour days, so doing 3 9 hours day or 4 8 hour days would be awesome!

I'd like a mix of working from home and the office, 32 hours a week. I'd be okay with the pay loss, it would be somewhat offset by wear and tear and gas for the car and eating out while at the office.

I would like to be in the office 1 day a week with WFH the rest of the time. I could do 2 and 2.

If money is not an issue I would definitely want to SAH.

But since it is an issue, I'd love to still work 40 hours and be full-time, but work WAH 3 days a week. It will offset perfectly w/ DH's schedule (he can be home 2 days a week, more or less).

I'd probably go down to part-time (20 hrs/wk, 3 days/wk).

I have my ideal work schedule right now.

I work 2-3 days (or more as needed) from home and work roughly 30 hours give or take some hours depending on projects, get paid for 40 hour/wk salaried position.

I work 36 hours a week (no Fridays) and I'd love to go down to 32 hours.

@mrs. tictactoe: my old school district used to let teachers "job share". As in, they shared 1 job and each worked part time. Summer and school holidays still off.

I really, really wish I could do that.

In a perfect world, I would be a SAHM, especially because DH is a college professor and gets those really long summer and winter breaks that would be SO amazing to spend together as a family. But we can't do that quite yet.

We are pregnant with LO#1 right now and I have a job that does not allow for telecommuting, so we're trying to figure out how this will work once I return to the office. I think I'm leaning towards a M-F, 8:30am-12:30pm schedule with no lunch break (20 hours per week), or a T,W,Th schedule from 8:30am-4pm with a 30 minute lunch (21 hours per week). This is mostly to accommodate daycare drop off/pick up times. Working half-time would make a modest contribution to my pension, pay for daycare, and cover my student loan payment. That would basically be it. Hence I am REALLY looking forward to paying Sallie Mae off ASAP! (DH's loans are another story).

I would love to job share with another employee, so I would do M,T and every 2nd W. My job share partner would do Th, F and every other W

@septca: I would still be full-time and in-office, but I wish my job were more transactional (and thus more predictable and flexibile) . . . !

I would work part time (about 24ish hours in the office). M, W, and TH from 8-4 !
