I would say she usually has a 2 hour nap at least once a day. Then smaller ones later in the day.

DD is the queen of the cat naps now - she goes down for a nap every 1.5 - 2 hrs but only sleeps for 30 minutes if I'm lucky. Now if I hold her, she'll sleep for up to 3 hrs...but that's not overly practical. I'm hoping this is just a phase she'll grow out of (she's 11 weeks).

4.5 months and 45 min - 1 hour. He actually took a 1.5 hr and 2.5 hr nap today, which is unheard of.

she's 5 months and usually 30 min-45 min. I always thought that was short, but seems like it's pretty common reading others responses.

My LO is 16, almost 17 months and on a good day will take one 2-2.5 hour nap.

T is 16 weeks and takes a monster morning nap of 2-2.5 hrs (but only sleeps 10 hrs overnight with -2 wakes). The rest of his naps are 45 mins. I could set a timer and predict exactly when he will wake up. Right around 12w is when he started the shorter naps...

LO is 4 months and naturally seems to wake up around the 40min mark. Probably 1/2 the time I get lucky and can rock her back down to get a total of 1,5hrs out of her.

LO is 9 months and almost always takes a 45 minute nap at home, 2-3 timmes a day. At daycare she famous for napping 30 minutes on the dot, and sometimes only takes one of those a day. I am glad to know i am not the only one with a short napper.
Thank goodness she is a good night sleeper!

my kids are now 5 months and they are finally getting into a groove. about 30-40 minutes for the first nap and about 1.5-2 hours for the 2nd. lucky if i get a 3rd nap.
i find that they nap better on the nap nanny since they don't move around so much.

My LO is 12 weeks - he usually naps for 45-60 minutes, takes 3 naps a day and sometimes a cat nap in the evening. On good days, one of his naps will last for 90 minutes (usually the second one in the early afternoon).

I can't wait to tell DH that most of these babies are taking 40 minute naps. Ours has been doing three 45 minute naps for a few weeks now (he's 4.5 months) He used to do three one hour naps and we thought something was 'wrong'. I have even been trying to trick him into extending the first nap lately with no luck. Now I will stop thinking the 45 minute naps are a problem. Yay for this thread.
