My kids aren't home so I'm fine with it being in the mid to low 60s.

We have ours set to 68 most of the time. Today it's only 16 outside so I'm tempted to crank it up but resisting.

70ish? I really don't know. I rarely ever touch it either. If I'm cold I bundle up, if I'm hot I just complain!

65...unless my husband cranks it down to 60. Brrrr.

We don't have one. Our Windows are open 365 days a year..ok I lie. They are closed when we go out of town.

65 when no one is home and when we're asleep, and 67 when we are home and awake!

We compromised at 66 but I'm constantly trying to sneak it down lower - I prefer to be cold.

60 when no one is home, 67-69 when we are. I keep it that warm at night too because the baby seems to sleep better that way. It was -12 when I got up this morning, so I shudder to think what I'm paying just to keep the pipes from freezing today!

Our rule is that whomever leaves last turns it off. We're in the Bay Area and it doesn't get to freezing. It also helps that we live in an apartment building.

My goodness I don't think I could live in any of your homes! Thankfully we have a wood boiler and free firewood. It's usually about 80-82 degrees during the day and 74ish at night.

72-74...I'm always cold! But on the flip side, it means I'm also cold in the summer and can keep the house at 75 then.

@MapleMoose: same! pre-baby I always made us wear sweatshirts, use a blanket, etc. but she doesn't exactly keep a blanket on or anything

During the week when no one is home, it's set to 60. On the weekends, it's set to 72.

78 if I do it, otherwise 73 because Mr.Lime thinks the house is too hot even when no one is home.

58! Our house runs on oil heat, so we keep it pretty low. 64 is actually pretty toasty, so we rarely put it higher than that.

70. But I'm usually in living room in front of fire and in here it's about 75.

Well our thermostat is set to 70-71, but ours is a bit off so that keeps our house around 68-69ish.
