I was originally just going to use an oversized beach bag, but now that I look at some of the "must have" items, looks like I'll need a small suitcase for baby and me!
What kind of bag did you use?

I'm bringing a small rolly suitcase (one that is small enough to be carried onto a plane)

I had like a duffel bag. It was the Vera Bradley duffel if that helps with size at all. And I also brought an empty duffel bag and took all the diapers I could lol

We have a large-ish duffel bag, and a bookbag. I was told to make sure that you have extra room to take home extra goodies from the hospital (diapers, mesh panties, pads, etc).

Used a carry-on rolling luggage bag both times and loved it! I also brought a large tote bag.

We wanted something with wheels, just so it would be easier to carry.

I threw out this question a while back too...I ended up bringing my smaller roller suitcase and it was a good choice.

I didn't bring that much stuff. I used this bag:

We're using a small suitcase (the size that you can carry on) for me, husband, and baby's items. I will bring my ipad, phone, camera, and chargers in my purse.

I'm repurposing my doula bags.
It's a carry-on luggage set comprised of a small rolling suitcase and a small tote bag.
I'll be packing my things in the rolling bag, DH's stuff in the tote bag, and the baby's stuff the in the diaper bag.

I brought a small suitcase, and then DH brought reusable grocery bags in from the car for the stuff that seemed to multiply as well as the stuff we swiped from the hospital.

I used a medium sized rolling duffel. But we still left with three times the amount of bags we went in with.

I took a large duffel bag. I might suggest taking an extra bag... we ended up with a ton of stuff from the hospital to take home and it was a pain trying to scrounge up bags.

I had a large LL bean tote for me and DH and a smaller one for baby. I wish I just brought a large duffel (Vera Bradley) because having both bags was a pain.

I brought a suitcase and wish I had brought a duffel for all the extras from the hospital--and for the fact that I packed way less well on the way out of the hospital than in preparation to go!
