Vaginal or c-section?
Just curious what the breakdown is here! Multiple options for multiple kids.
E was vaginal, but the nurses were starting to mutter about a c-section (I had been pushing for a long time and our heart rates were getting erratic.)

Unplanned c-section. Baby's HR was dropping and my PB was dropping and it turned out the cord was around her neck.

Vaginal, but they threatened c-section 2 minutes into my induction bc DS's heart rate was constantly dropping. Found out it was bc he didn't like me lying on my left side. He prefered my right.

My first was an unplanned C-section but I am hoping for a VBAC this time around.

Vaginal but with forceps. I had been pushing for almost 3 hours and he just wasn't coming out. We found out it was because the cord was around his neck and there were two knots in it.

C-section. I was going to be induced at 39 weeks due to gestational diabetes and his size was also a factor. Instead of risking a failed induction, we went ahead with a planned c-section. He was almost 9 lbs and so stuck that they ended up having to vacuum him out during surgery, so my OB said I would've ended up with one anyway.

Vaginal for the first, and recovery from that went so well I'm hoping for another one for #2.

vajaja. IF we ever have another, that will be a planned c-sec. I don't want to mess around with my lady bits again!

It makes me feel better to see so many non-c-sections. I worry about getting one unnecessarily since the rates are so high in the US. I need to remember that even though they're high, there are still far more vaginal births going on!

Planned c-section with my first because she was breech, so I decided to go the same route with my son, as well. This time around, I'm not sure what I want. Both options make me nervous the third time around.

Vagina birth.
My midwives knew how badly I wanted a vaginal birth (obviously if my baby was in distress I would have wanted a c section... I was just worried about an "unnecessary" c/s.
Turns out the cord was around DS's neck but luckily he tolerated labour OK.

@Torchwood: I was nervous about it...the hospital I delivered at has something like a 40% csection rate! But it's because it's a large, regional hospital with a great NICU, so pregnancies that may have complications that are more likely to end in csections are sent there.
@bunnylovesbear: Oooo are you pregnant???

@Torchwood: I also worry about an unnecessary c-section! Glad to see so many bees did give birth vaginally.

@lovehoneybee: yup, just found out a little over a week ago! @Mrs. Bee: how exactly does one end up with an unplanned VBAC? That was my biggest fear with #2.
@MamaBehr: how was the recovery for the 3rd csection? Any reason you didn't go for the VBAC?
