My blender just broke! I had it for about a year I believe. Luckily, it wasn't expensive. Green juice is the only way my son will take his greens so I need to replace it. I would love a blendtec or vitamix but not sure I can justify the price since I've been able to make do with just a regular blender. What do you have and do you like it?

I currently have the Ninja, but looking to upgrade to the Vitamix. I like the Ninja, but I love how finely the Vitamix blends everything, even though the blade is so small. I think the sales guy at Costco convinced me...those guys are good at their job!

I agree with @sweet_p ! I've had the ninja for a year and love it but is really love the vitamix after I used my moms when I stayed at her house!

I have a cuisinart duo which is a blender and food processor. Two different attachments but one base. I make green smoothies a lot for LO and I and it does a great job! I also have a separate juicer.

I have the Ninja, and I love it! Eventually we'll go with a vitamix - but I got a super good deal on the Ninja!

we have a cheap blender by Oster... it works great though and has a food processor jar

I have a Vitamix and it is my favorite purchase *ever*. Not only is the blender amazing, but the customer service is excellent as well (which is great, since the machine costs soooo much!)

@Boogiebea: There are 2 models at Costco...one costs $370 like @Swurlygurl said and the newer model is $500. I haven't done much research on it yet, but the sales guy said it costs $650 elsewhere...yikes!

@Mrsbells: My, now broken, blender was a hamilton beach. I spent $40 on it. Super cheap but I liked that the container is glass. Maybe I shouldn't have been juicing with it. So, I think I need to get something more powerful.

@locavore_mama: Sounds like a great combo. We already have one of those small cuisinart food processors. We actually don't use the food processor as much as I thought I would.

I have the Nutri Bullet and have been happy with it so far. We use it for green smoothies for DH & me and I also use it to make puree for DS when he started solids.
