@mrs. 64: Does one of the markets near you have a nice cheese counter? The people who work the ones near me are usually very knowledgeable and are more than happy to give samples if you're trying to decide between a couple types of cheese. The market with my favorite cheese counter (and cheesemonger, she's awesome!) also has random samples available most of the time, which is the best when I'm shopping and hungry... Anyway, if you find a market with a good cheese counter, you should be able to avoid bringing home something you don't like!
