I worked in the same job as now, except part time
Back then I served customers/ did office admin, now I'm the accounts manager. I've been there 10 years this june -
mostly just did school, but during summer i worked as an office assistant, then i worked in the recruiting office for a hot minute, then at the end of senior year, i worked at starbucks.

During the year I worked as a seamstress in the costume department and as a researcher at a presidential mansion.
In the summers I worked as the orientation coordinator for incoming residents and fellows in the radiology department.

I worked for a tech company full-time the first year, then as a waitress the second year, and then was the office manager for a small coffee vending company the rest of my time at school. I was 21 when I started college, and while I sometimes wish I had started fresh out of high school, I think the work experience before and during really helped me to prepare for the real world and what to expect out of college.

I worked as a student employee on the campus programming board for 2 years. It was a really fun job. I also worked at a shoe store part time, and eventually was the assistant manager there.

@mrbee: I worked in restaurants and retail. Blehhh. I was a server and a cook in different food chains and I worked at Walmart for a few years in University, that was an experience!

During the school year, I worked in a research lab and I refereed intermural sports.
Summer after freshman year I worked 70 hours a week between a Cold Stone Creamery and back at my high school. Summer after sophomore year I worked in a research lab abroad in Singapore. And summer after junior year I worked a paid internship.
