I am looking for ideas for house numbers because I am unhappy with our stick ons!
I also want to make some doll undies for LO's new Frozen dolls.

I'm working on a baby quilt for my cousin's daughter (for her dolls or for stuffed animal picnics). I've been meaning to make something out of the bridesmaid dress from my cousin's wedding. It was finally time.

Mainly, working on L's Minnie costume and K's Mickey costume. And by 'working on', I really mean 'the supplies are sitting on the counter waiting for me to get off my lazy butt and do it'.

Just finished two baby/toddler blankets. My SIL's is having twins (boy/girl). It was my first time using minky fabric. Now just working on a crochet sweater for our pup.
Heres a picture of the blankets I made recently...

@HappyBluebird: I love the fabric you used! I have that owl pattern fabric too but I have no idea what to do with it... I'm a bit of a fabric hoarder.

*sigh* I need to finish the baby quilt for my cousin. Baby boy was born in July and I've had the fabric since March--WHOOPS.

@Raindrop: I love that whole line of fabric! It took me forever to try and pick out just two! I'm a yarn hoarder and I'm working my way toward being a fabric hoarder, much to my husband's dismay

I'm finishing embroidering DD's name on her stocking and working on LO2's. They take forever! I'm guessing I'll finish poor LO2's by Christmas 2015

I am making my son a bathrobe and an advent calendar in the shape of a tree. Just basic sewing, nothing fancy.

I'm trying to get Ryland's ISPY momma made quilt finished for his first birthday. Need to finish quilting the top & binding it. Still not 100% sure what colour to choose for the binding.
**edit to add - the quilts boarder says: "i spy with my little eye something that is...." its much clearer to read in real life.

@MrsBrewer: Why thank you! apart from the applique letters it truly is a simple quilt even a beginner could do. Find some awesome prints, make some blocks. I feel like it will be a fun thing for many years to come. I felt like it would be a good 1st birthday gift because really... what does a 1 year old need?

@MrsHoneyC: Did you just use fat quarters for the squares of random fabrics? Or are these all just scraps you had leftover??

I'm not working on anything yet but practicing with my sewing machine before I work on anything expensive. I'm excited to start working on something though! I want to make baby blankets to start.

@MrsBrewer: i have a large stash of quilting cotton, i am obsessed. lol so most of it was scraps from previous quilts i have made my son... he may or may not have 6 of them..... haha. But using something like a charm pack would be perfect. Moda is one of my favourites they have lovely patterns, sometimes you can go to quilt shops and they have remnant charm packs made up for sale. Thats a good way to get lots of different patterns for cheap. Here's a more close up photo of the patterns i chose.

@MrsHoneyC: Hi! love your quilts!!
I'm working on first bday stuff. Birthday banner, cupcake stand, etc

@MrsHoneyC: I have been looking closely at every square and surprisingly I don't think I have any of your fabrics!! (I have a huge stash and I can usually spot something I own) I do recognize a few of them but never bought them *snaps*.
They are all very cute though. I love how everything just matches and blends very well. Good eye!

I'm making Halloween decorations (last minute over here!) and also making baby ribbon/taggie type things for our departmental bake and craft sale to raise $$ for the families we adopt for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I'll upload a couple of pics tonight if I remember!

@MrsHoneyC: I love homemade quilts and you did a great job. I'm bad at starting but never getting around to finishing one.
My LO is also a Ryland, great name choice

I am going to do a couple crafts this weekend with girlfriends in the mountains. Making a felt Christmas tree for the wall for R to play with and a JOY wreath for the front door.
At home, we just hired someone to stain our deck. It is massive and would take DH too many weekends to do it that we would rather spend as a family. Found someone super cheap!
