If your LO is in school if some sort, what type of valentines are they doing? Little tiny cards you buy in a big pack at cvs? Something super adorable and Pinterest worthy? Something in between? This is our first year in school and I just got some packs of mini stickers in a valentines box but I've seen lots of different things from friends!

He likes Blaze and Doc McStuffins so we got one pack of each - $1.99 at Target is a no brainer.
I got a huge bag of those single serve Flipz pink chocolate covered pretzels that we'll somehow affix to the cards.

Found a box at Target that had 40 bags of Micky Mouse valentine's pretzels. Score! That covered both boys' classrooms. I just wrote their name with a sharpie on the bag and called it a day. They're too young to really care so I went for ease.

He put heart stickers on a bigger sparkly heart cut outs from the dollar store. I signed his name and taped a little pack of stickers to them. Same card for his teachers but some nice chocolates instead of stickers

A cheap pack of sticker Valentine's from Target. She's only 3 and we have a newborn too...cheap and easy was the way to go this year!

I felt like a total failure last year because I didn't realize this was a thing people do, and I am not at all crafty, but the premade cards were not vibing with me either so I bought a pack of red cardstock, some glittery heart stickers and a silver gel pen at Michael's (total cost $8.01), cut the paper into 4 "squares" (not at all evenly) and gave them to LO to decorate. She's 3.5 and the rule was she can draw anything she wants (she spent time practicing her hearts), and put two stickers on each card. I then wrote "Happy Love Day, 
Ruby" on each one. She just moved up into the 4s classroom so we decided to make a stack for each class. One is done, the other hopefully tonight.

DD1 (4.5 yrs): Dollar store Frozen cards with a cute valentine stackable lead pencil taped on (for school & dance friends) - she chose cards and wrote her name on each.
DD2 (2.5 years): Dollar store Sofia cards with a heart-themed bubble tube taped on (school friends) or in a heart goodie bag with a mini valentine rubber duck (dance friends)
I also did the goodie bags for DD2's class at school - heart treat bags with a mini valentine ducky, Annie's valentine fruit snacks, and some heart stickers.
DD3 is not doing Valentines - @anonysquire: I am super impressed that your newborn is!

Frozen. He picked them! I'm so glad because I was afraid this year he wouldn't want to give out "girly" Valentines. No candy or anything else. They are having a party so there'll be plenty of treats. Plus they have treasure day every Friday so we've done almost every trinket there is to do at school this year...!

My DD is only 5 months old but I ordered some cute bunny shaped cards off Etsy for her to give out to her daycare class. Just the card given that they're all babies and can't have treats.

DD1 actually has school tomorrow and they're doing a valentine's party, so they requested cards for everyone in the class, no candy. my mom went with her and they picked out some little cards with envelopes with temporary tattoos. she wrote her name in the cards and we stuffed them. easy and cute.

@Foodnerd81: we are giving some just like this that I found at the dollar store for my 3.5 year old. I really didn't want to add more candy to anyone's treat box since I know they will get tons tomorrow.
Dd2 (10 months) is giving out store bought Minnie Mouse cards and applesauce pouches.

DD picked out some plain cards and envelopes that she decorated with heart cut outs, pink marker, and glitter glue pens. They look a hot mess TBH but she worked really hard on them for hours and she is very proud of herself.

DS picked finding Dorrie cards. We put together treat bags that have stickers, a heart balloon, play doh and a couple chocolate kisses. We also baked cookies to take for their Valentines party tomorrow.

Paw Patrol cards that my MIL probably bought at the dollar store. When I dropped them off in D's class, it looked like all the other kids had brought in super Pinterest-y valentines. Oh well.

I was a little bit bummed when I found out that our daycare doesn't do Valentine's Day -- and then I realized that it meant one less thing for me to deal with, and I decided it was brilliant! DS was home all of last week with the flu, so I'm just completely over it.

I wasn't going to do anything, but LO (age 2) is totally obsessed with Star Wars characters, so when we saw cheap boxed star wars cards she had to have them for her daycare class. She's so excited to "Give my friends R2 and Vader!"
I thought about adding a snack or treat to them, but I decided not to since I'm not sure that anyone else in her class will even do anything since they're so young still. (but I'm going to feel bad if she comes back with fancy stuff and treats from her classmates!)
