We have LG front loading washer and dryer. Love them! They both have a steam setting which is great for delicates and sweaters. We are saving a ton by not dry cleaning!

We have the LG top loader and I really like it but the spin cycle is crazy fast and the clothes get tangled if it isn't on the lowest setting. It is otherwise fabulous though!

We have the LG Mega Capacity steam front loader and the matching Mega steam dryer. I love it and don't even mind doing laundry anymore. I like the quick 15 minute wash setting for light soil clothes.

we bought ours off craigslist it was a steal! it's just a regular GE washer/dryer but it's been great.

We have a regular toploader that is about 6 years old, nothing special. My parents had a GE frontloader and have had numerous expensive issues with it, they took it to a repair shop last week and the guy told them the best of the best are Samsung and LG. He said he's always repairing GE's. HTH.

@Mrs. Yoyo: Why are front loaders bad? We have to buy a new set when we move in our new house this summer and I have been eying a Samsung front loader set!

@Mrs. Yoyo: I have the whirlpool cabrio. I really like it! It also has a sanitize option which is nice but I've never used it haha.
@PrincessBaby: someone told me the front loaders and bad because they break easier. Something about the water leaking out the door maybe?? I can't quite remember but I was told they break a lot so I didn't get one.

@PrincessBaby: They have a lot more issues with bad smells building up, and one of the only easy ways to prevent it is to leave the door open, which isn't an option for us with a toddler! We have front loaders right now in our rental and hate them for that reason.

We have an LG top loader washer and dryer. Just got it in Jan. I told DH to get whatever just not a front load washer. Not a fan of them.

@Mrs. Yoyo: we also didn't like front loaders. We went with the whirlpool cabrio which is a HE top loader. We've been really happy with them.

whirlpool cabrio top loader! it's awesome. my sister has the next level up from us and has a cool steam function so you don't always have to iron your clothes....

I love my Whirlpool Cabrio Platinum! We have the dryer, I'd love to get the washer eventually. It's super big and very fast, I don't mind doing laundry anymore. It is high end, but we got a fabulous deal at Sears Outlet, it just had a tiny scratch on the side, well worth the several hundred dollar discount!

Samsung front loaders. We got the larger ones so we could wash our bed spread & love it! It auto adjust to your load size and cut our water bill by $15 bucks!
ETA: my mom just bought the same type of set but in the standard top load and loves them as well. Guy at lowes said they are easier to maintain
