Do you follow a plan, like Weight Watchers? Do you count calories? Do you follow the 80/20 principle? Do you limit certain foods, like meat, dairy, carbs? Do you always make sure you get your 5-a-day and drink your 8 glasses of water? Do you only drink at weekends or make sure you stop at one glass?

What do slim, healthy people do? Is it a conscious choice?

Pre-pregnancy, I ate and drank whatever I fancied, whenever I fancied it and gave little thought to what was going into my body. As a result, I was overweight and unhealthy. My GD diet has been so positive for me - but I've noticed just how many times a day I've had to make a different choice to what I would have made before - said no to a cake, not had a glass of wine, not had an unhealthy choice at a restaurant, forced myself to cook when DH wanted take away..... The GD diet is very restrictive so i dont want to strictly follow it forever, but I don't want to go back to my old ways.
