@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: Aww, that kid's adorable.
For me, it was when DD started fussing when DH walked away this morning. Up til now (6 months) she's just been super focused and attached to me. But she was sitting in the high chair and he went to make her bottles and she started fussing and craning her neck around so she could see him. And she got super happy when he came back. It was really cute to see her reaction to him.

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: cute!
We booked a Disney Cruise last night for next summer (it will be our second cruise with them) and I told LO this morning. The look on her face "we are going on Mickey Mouse's boat again?!?!" was so worth it; she was so so so happy!

@yoursilverlining: What age is your daughter? Or, what age was she the first time you went? This is definitely something we want to do but don't know when to do it!

It's supposed to be in the upper 70s here today (unusual!) and so I put LO in a pair of shorts. He looked at me and said "Mommy, they're not working!" while trying to pull them down to cover the rest of his legs. Haha! He's 2.5

DS asked DH to play this super annoying version of Wheels on the Bus and he did so without hesitation - he's even singing along

Before he left for daycare B gave me a tackle-y hug "so you'll have enough hug energy for the whole day!"

@wrkbrk: She was 3.5 for the Disney cruise we went on last year. She loved it! Definitely saw kids of all ages though and all seemed to be having a great time.
The one thing I will say about Disney cruises is that their pricing and "deals on pricing" are opposite of basically every single other cruise line in that they are cheapest when they first release and open up the dates. Usually the prices get cheaper the closer to sailing you get, opposite on Disney. They opened summer 2018 for booking only yesterday and apparently there were already some price increases for certain itineraries and rooms yesterday between booking in the Am and people who waited to book in the evening (insane).... because, Disney (sigh). So, if you are looking for a deal, earlier is better than later.

@yoursilverlining: Thanks for the info on pricing! I have not looked into it yet. He is 15 months we were thinking at least 3!

The weather is bizarre and amazing. Almost 70 degrees, we are lunch with friends outside on the deck with no coats, and the kids were playing in the snow. So strange but glorious.
AND for the first time in a looooooong time we had a play date here and my 3.5 year old behaved. She didn't push her friend or throw a tantrum or anything, just one little crying for at the end as she was getting really tired. Such a relief.

It is 76 here (40 degrees above normal). We are picking up DD at daycare, going to the playground, then out for dinner!
