I used to be very dedicated and hard working. Since having LO I'm slacking.

I am a subject matter expert at a really obscure portion of our business. It's both a blessing and a curse!

I am pretty self sufficient and can figure out how to do something without having it be explained (like computer tasks, or using printers/scanners/etc). Or, someone can tell me how to do something once and I can remember from there.

I am a hard worker and am able to persevere through the most challenging situations.

I'm networked pretty heavily in my field (within my company). If you have a question and I can't answer it, I know who can. It's about who you know, not what you know

@blackbird: and I will take that one further, it's about who knows you, too!

I work really well on a deadline and I don't let criticism bother me - important in my field. If someone has a problem with what I wrote, it usually means I did my job.

I'm invested in my students, and I'll do a heck of a lot for them!

Actually making it through the day without walking out... It's been one of "those" days (weeks/months/years/careers?)...

I'm pretty versatile and have well rounded knowledge in all aspects of my line of work. I'm usually the go to person when someone has a question about something or the history of our department. I've also been here 10.5 years, so that helps too!

Patience. 18 four year olds reallyyyyy try my patience, but most days I can handle it. Though I must say, at 31 weeks pregnant, I'm losing some of my "zen."

Ugh, lately it's just the fact that I come to work. I have lost all motivation lately

@looch: I feel this way a on a lot of stuff (SME). I'm actually not an SME, but rather just a general expert on a lot of things.

I was very reliable. We have a meeting at 7:45am? I'm there. With f&*^*'n doughnuts.
If I take a day off, I give good notice & I get my business wrapped up in a pretty little bow before leaving.
I can't wait to get back to work, once LO is of pre-school age.

@SupernovaJ: I agree, that a lot of people don't have a constructive opinion and being able to articulate and voice your opinion can be a very strong characteristic.

@T.H.O.U.: I think that's a good thing, I would rather have a broader knowledge base than what I have, but it's not the direction my career has taken me in.
I think the highlight most recently was when I was giving a presentation on something and the MD in charge asked me what something was...thought he was kidding around and was trying to put me on the spot, but I found out later he didn't even know what it was, so that felt good.

Very reliable/accountable.
... since I've been pregnant thought I've been taking advantage of working from home and having some naps/late mornings. I'm in sales though so as long as I'm hitting targets, no one should know
