Does eating table foods count?? Xander's 11 months and we're still on the purees! And not even CHUNKY purees - it has to be SMOOTH or he won't eat it!

@Adira: haha, one thing Easy baby isn't so easy about.

UPDATE: I got a video from day care this morning and girlfriend took 7 steps, stopped at the swing, and took 7 more. Her teacher said that it was the 3rd time she did it. She looks like she has been walking for days. I hope she does for me tonight!

Walking. DD cruised at 6.5 months and then wasn't exclusively walking until 10.5. It was a month and a half between first steps to walking. And then for a while she'd only walk at home.

Sitting completely unassisted. He is 7.5 months and I still a little wobbly and topples over more than other babies his age.

@Smurfette: The not carrying part is great! The always wanting to be walking on their own is interesting, especially if you are in a crowded mall.

Sit up unassisted comfortably!! He was crawling for 3 months before he was able to sit up!

Word explosion! She's got a decent vocab at almost 2yo and can string together 2-3 word phrases but I'm still waiting for that huge language explosion everyone assures me will happen any minute :T

@Smurfette: if it helps, once she started preferring walking to crawling, she became a walking rock star

Rolling over. She is 17 weeks and has yet to roll in either direction. I'm impatient!
