DS didn't care for anything that could be considered a lovey (e.g. Sophie the Giraffe, pacifiers, blankets, etc.). He also didn't care for the mamaroo. Hoping #2 will like it better, otherwise, it's going up for sale. It's bulky and was expensive man!

Pacifiers, baby wearing and the swing -- my LO hates all of them. Actually, now that she's teething she likes to chew on her wubanub. FWIW we tried four different types of pacies and my LO refused them all.

Also, should go without saying, she hated the mamaroo. So glad we were gifted it and weren't the ones to shell out the $$$ for that thing.

@T.H.O.U.: No monitor for me either (well actually we own one but have never set it up ). Also neither of my boys tolerated swaddles.

I have to say about the bobby, I thought that it was useless after LO1, but with this one, it is NECESSARY. I use it basically every feed.

Loved my boppy and used it until LO was 15 months! He was not a fan of the swing, but I know so many babies are... Also never had a bumbo or mobile. I just didn't see the point in forcing a baby to sit up before they're ready.

Sophie - our dog ate 2 of them before I stopped trying to get A to like it

Bumbo - she was just too tiny and once she was big enough she could sit up on her own and didn't want to be confined

scratch mittens - never even tried to use them, A wanted her hands on her face

we couldn't have lived without our rock n play tho! A slept in it for the first 4-5 months!
