I'm sure I did lots of things I forgot about, but there's one thing that I will never forget! I accidentally broke part of this statue of an eagle that my dad had... and then hid the broken part and lied about it. Somehow the truth came out and boy was I in trouble.
I did way worse things later in high school, but didn't get caught. So for me, I got in the most trouble over a broken eagle.

When I was 14 I was sitting at a "kids" table at a wedding and there was wine at it. I drank way too much, got very drunk and threw up on my dad's boss. Holy crap I was in SO much trouble. Literally dragged home, tossed in the bathroom where I spent the night on the floor. Lucky for me my 17 year old brother accidentally fell asleep at his girlfriend's house and didn't come home a few nights later so my behaviour was forgotten. I can't believe I did that now!

I was awful so I hope this makes someone laugh.
- I wasn't allowed a phone in my room and my dad enforced a 9pm phone time curfew & wasn't allowed a phone in my room. I was 16 & this was the worst rule in the world. I bought a phone & hid it in my room, and used it after he went to bed. He found out & pulled the phone jack in my room out of the wall. I bought a cricket cell phone, which he found and took.
- my parents did eventually get me a phone but it had 100 anytime minutes & nights/weekends didn't exist back in 2000. It took me one month to rack up a $400 cell phone bill. Phone gone, me grounded for a month.
- I snuck out and went to a rave. I was grounded for six months and no phone privileges. Also lost my right to privacy, so there went the bedroom door.
I didn't get away with as much as I thought I would. My parents were sneakier than me and it sucked for 16-17 year old me.

I.. did something SO stupid when I was 16. Brings back bad memories, so don't wanna get into it, but it involved my dad's work, a phone and Australia.

oh, i was bad. i disappeared frequently. i would say i was staying one place, and go other places. i skipped school all the time. i didn't do school work. i wanted to hang a tapestry from my ceiling.... i used roofing nails and trashed the ceiling in my room. i stole lots of booze from the liquor cabinet. honestly though, i never got in trouble for the really bad stuff i did, i got in trouble when i was messy or talked back- both of which happened frequently.

@mrs. bird: my brother and I used to throw parties when our parents went out of town. Huge, loud parties with live bands -- we knew local musicians. Wiz Khalifa came once.
We always told our parents what we were doing -- I never lied -- and they never believed us. The ONE TIME we really didn't throw a party there was a really bad storm, and an empty beer can flew into our side yard. We were in sooooo much trouble.. but we REALLY didn't have anyone over!

@Mrs. Jump Rope: wiz khalifa came to your party?!?! whaaaa??!! it's always the little things that get ya! once, my mom was cleaning the guest room for company, she came in my room and stone faced, said, 'there's something in the guest room you need to clean up.' i had NO idea what she was talking about.... it was a condom wrapper, it wasn't even mine! some friends had used that room & apparently left it behind. AWKWARD

@mrs. bird: yes! He's from Pittsburgh & went to a rival high school. My brothers best friend is his tour manager & was the one who got him shows up at penn state. We know lots of bands from before they were famous!
That's soooo awkward about the condom wrapper. I would have died!

I was the baby of 3 girls. My mom knew ALL the tricks in the book. I got caught before I even did anything. Talking back was definitely what I got in the most trouble for.
The night before I went to prom as a freshman my friend and i snuck out her bedroom window. All we did was hang out with our boyfriends in her back woods but stupidly we forgot to put the screen back in her window. Her mom was such a gardener, she went out to pull weeds very early that next morning. Needless to say, we had a very early wake up call the day of prom and spent the morning weeding. Still chuckle everytime I think of that.

My parents were not strict at all and I was generally a good kid, so I never really got in notable trouble. The biggest thing I almost got in trouble for was when my now H and I were parked at a scenic overlook doing...what high schoolers do at scenic overlooks, lol. Our car battery ran out and it was pretty late so we were freaking out. My H went over to another car (we could see the couple just talking) and asked if they had jumper cables. They did not. We spent another 30 or so min trying to decide whose parents to call when that couple drove back up to us. The woman said, "we were worried about you so we came back with jumper cables!" HALLELUJAH! I still think about them from time to time and how they totally saved us, haha.

@MrsSCB: lucky! Our biggest meltdown was when my mother found out DH (bf at the time, we were like 16) and I had been rounding 3rd base. She didn't actually catch us, thank God, but she did find out. We didn't speak for a week...during parents night for sports. Awkward family photos from that night. Lol!

My brother and I broke the TV while we were fighting over who had control over the remote. My dad was SOOO mad, and he knew we broke it but we refused to say what happened.

I wracked up some huge phone bills when AOL came out and it was charged by the minute!! I did it multiple times, at home, at my dad's office, and at my Aunt's house (we stayed there for about a month while our house was still under construction). I got in deep trouble each time... I think my mom didn't talk to me for at least a month after one of those incidents.

In the grand scheme of things this wasn't a horrible offense, but it stands out bc of how disappointed my parents were in me. When I was in 5th grade I had a friend who spoke Spanish and taught a group of friends cuss words in Spanish, so of course I wrote the translations down in a notebook. My mom later found it when she was looks for some paper and flipped out on me!
I never got caught for the actual bad things I did later on like lying to sneak off with my high school BF and stealing cigarettes to try.

When I was 5 or 6 I bit my mom when she told me to go take a nap or something. I remember my grandma was over at the time and she was like "did she break the skin?!" Lol! (I didn't). Terrible and I shouldn't be laughing, but I was so bad. I also talked back a ton... That was probably my parents biggest complaint about me. My mouth!

In 5th grade, I tied another kid's shoe laces together and to the legs of the school bus seat. Definitely got in trouble at school and at home for that one. Also, in 6th grade I played a dirty version of MASH (Mansion, Apartment, Shack, or House) with a neighbor friend that was a few years older than I was. I got caught at school, who called my mom and that was bad. Not my best few years for sure!

I called 911 to see if it was real after a field trip to the fire department. I was in BIG BIG trouble. I was like 5.
My sister moved out at 18 with her bf without telling my parents, after that I kind of flew under the radar and never really got caught for anything. I guess I should thank her now

When I was around 10, my friend and I went downtown all by ourselves to see a movie. I didn't tell anyone I was going and my mom was super worried.
