My girls mostly watch animated movies/shows but last weekend they actually sat and watched Elf, I was shocked! Maybe because it was Christmas related and they are all about that these days. Those things usually lose their interest pretty fast. I'm curious if there are any other non-animated movies that they would like...does your LO enjoy non-animated movies? If so, which ones?

@Bao: We got the cheap DVD as a gift and part of the bonus features is the sing a long to all the songs. So it skips all the scary parts or boring talking parts. But she loved seeing real people.

She likes Grease, Annie, and The Wiz. Musicals!

She is obsessed with Pitch Perfect 1 & 2!!!! She likes it WAY more than any animated movie or show. It's mainly because of the music and dancing. We watched the original Willy Wonka last week and she liked that too.

Mary Poppins and The Sound of Music. He's scared of animated films and has never seen one all the way through!

They don't have the attention span to watch much of any movie, but I put on Elf the other day and they were into it for about 20 min! I was so excited I texted DH like "I am watching something on TV with real human beings in it!!!"

@T.H.O.U.: my LO loves the Wizard of Oz too. She acts out a lot of it when she watches it, she's seen it so many times.
She also really like the Three Stooges - which I wouldn't necessary recommend introducing

On of my favorite growing up "The Little Princess" she loves it, which shocked me, I think it has to do with the colors!
