What songs/artists does your kiddo like? I don't have any kid music for T yet so she just listens to whatever we play but she has favorites, it's so cute.

@youboots: we listen to christian radio in the car so she likes artists like Danny Gokey, big daddy weave etc

T loves Chris Stapleton and Bob Marley. She will stand in front of our record player and say Bob. So cute. She also digs Fleetwood Mac.

my four year old loves the Front Bottoms (emo band) and Queen. he knows all of the words to a lot of their songs!

My daughter loves the song Trouble by American Authors. She's asks for it every time we get in the car. My son loves the Hamilton soundtrack. It has swear words in it, though, so may not be everyone's cup of tea.

My son only likes the themes from Thomas and Paw Patrol, it's a real problem. The other day I said "Hey Siri, play Taylor Swift" and he said "Taylor Swift? I don't like that song."

He loves the song Cheerleader! That's the only one I've seen a true reaction to multiple times. He's 2 and if I play that song he says "come on mummy let's play dance!"

We listen to "Down in My Heart" 40,000 times a day. Some times he will ask for "Pokey" (for Hokey Pokey) and recently he's been enjoying some "If You're Happy and You Know It."

My son is really into songs featuring electric guitar. We introduced him to Michael Jackson over the weekend, so we listened to the greatest hits this morning.
I really like Kidz Bop, they "sanitize" lyrics and make it appropriate for kids.

She's gotten into some 80's stuff recently. And when we're not listening to the Disney Pandora station, I usually have it on Alice in Chains, so she's well versed in 90's grunge

My 2.5 year old son is obsessed with the Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack right now. His grandpa introduced him to some Grateful Dead this past weekend and he has been singing/humming "Uncle John's Band" constantly since hearing it.

We don't really listen to kid music and just play what we want to hear. My son started guitar lessons awhile back and he likes a few choice Nirvana songs and some David Bowie.

My 2-year-old is obsessed with Johnny Cash. "Walk the Line" is his current favorite bedtime song and he thinks the baby in my belly should be named Johnny Cash.
I think I've posted about this before but from 15-20ish months his favorite song was A-punk by vampire weekend. Kid has pretty good taste in music!

Almost 4 year old, he likes 21 pilots a lot (plus their albums don't have cursing, so it's easy to put on and forget about). He's also into the Hamilton soundtrack, Ben Folds, and Elliott Smith.

We don't really listen to kid music so they like what we listen to. Current favorite for my 3 year old is Ophelia by the Lumineers, he walks around singing "O-Ophelia..."
@jape14: I sing Folsom Prison Blues but in an effort to keep it clean for my kids I only sing the first line... they don't need to hear about shooting a man to watch him die.

D likes the Beastie Boys and Elton John. His favorite songs right now are Benny and the Jets and Intergalactic. Oh, and Uptown Funk. He's turned it into his touchdown dance song when he plays football - he stands up, shakes his little booty,a and sings "Touchdown, funk you up, touchdown funk you up!" Hilarious.

Lo1: she's 4 and loves rap music...I have to be careful about what I play and make sure it's radio edited for her little ears (she's her momma's girl) and she's obsessed with the Hamilton soundtrack like me
LO2: she's always been a big Bob Marley fan, she just sways back and forth to the music.
We don't' listen to a lot of kid music, it's always been normal music. I listen to just about everything, so my kids do too!
