You guys would hate me, I loathe The Princess Bride and Pulp Fiction.
If I have to pick an actual classic, it would be Monty Python and the Holy Grail, although I suppose it's more of a cult classic. If it's really just whatever one movie I think everyone should see, even if it's too new to be a classic...oh man, that's really hard. Probably Inception or Dark Knight? For a more family-friendly pick it has to be Harry Potter.

I'm not a big fan of 'classic' movies. I like stupid movies. One of my all time faves is Legally Blonde - so random, but I just love it. Or P.S. I Love You - best movie ever.

so many good suggestions here! i'm a huge when harry met sally fan. but i always watch forrest gump every time it's on television. and gah i love sound of music and the neverending story too! can't wait to watch all these with my kids!
actually i'm looking forward to watching home alone since i love christmas movies and i think we can actually watch that together in the next year!
