Totally our video monitor. We got it when DD was 9-months and I seriously don't know how I survived without it.

Same! The video monitor - bless! Being able to shut the door and carry on with my business while the baby naps has been life-changing.

The first six months, our Snuggabunny swing. Since then, probably.... The Take Along tunes toy. That thing has kept her entertained for SO many hours of travel and being in the car.

@loveisstrange: I come thisclose to buying the Take Along Tunes toy every time I'm in Target. Do you think my LO would like it even though he's only 4 months?

@loveisstrange: We have it, too, but doesn't it drive you nuts!?!?! It makes me crazy! But it does do its job at keeping DD entertained.

Our cuddlywrap. Perfect for the newborn period, and more lightweight than the moby. It definitely got us through DD's first summer. While I'm in the market for a new wrap, we still love and use it daily!

couldn't live without the rock n play...she loved that thing! Close second and third: snugabunny swing & bouncer chair.

Well, the video monitor is awesome. But this white noise machine projects animals on the ceiling. IT IS AMAZING.

We are only 2 weeks in to this parenting thing but so far we love love love our keekaroo peanut changer - so easy to clean! Close runner ups would be our wubbanub and mamaroo!

Swaddle Me blankets. Best. Thing. Ever. It has provided for hours of sleep... which I value more than almost anything else.

The Beco Gemini. Absolute lifesaver in the early days and DH loves using it too.

@blackbird: it does what?? holy cow I need to get me one of those.
@Mrsbells: @LuLu Mom: LOVE my RnP! I could not have survived without that thing.

I loved the beaba baby cook machine, seriously couldn't have lived without it.
We had a solid surface changing pad, brilliant.
Blackout curtains for say and night, and a standing oscillating fan.

Couldn't have lived without my RnP and my mobu wrap!
We will be investing in a video monitor for #2.

@blackbird: @MamaJ: Ooh! I need to upgrade DS's white noise from just the app on my phone and that looks like it fits the bill perfectly!

I LOVE the video monitor.
And although I wouldn't say I love it, the Take Along Tunes, though, saved our lives for the first 4 months. It was the ONLY thing that would stop DD from crying when she was a super colicky newborn. I would literally drive with one arm reached into the backseat holding the toy so I could keep pushing the button. DD is 16 months old and still likes it. I now buy it for any new mom I know.

Snugabunny bouncer! He slept in it for the first 4 months. Such a lifesaver! Next time we're getting a rock n play though. And the video monitor.

@grizz: OMG LO LOVES the Take-Along Tunes, and has almost since birth! Worth every penny we paid for it (which wasn't much...)
Past that, probably our video monitor. I also love his Gentle Giraffe sleep machine doll, mostly because he's crazy about it.

Video monitor for sure. Also, IDK how I would have survived until now without a baby carrier.

Video monitor! We didn't get one until lo was 8 months because I underestimated how totally awesome it is!

@sunny: We sleep trained without one. I can't believe I was able to do it. Sheesh.

@grizz: J has the Take Along tunes & has loved it since she was about 3m. I call it her iPod.
My Boba carrier & ring sling...otherwise I would've never left the house early on cause she hated her car seat. She also loves her Sophie.

@grizz: R loves staring at the Take Along Tunes toy. I can't wait till she can hold it herself!
I couldn't live without our Snugabunny swing or the RnP during the first 10 weeks.

@grizz: do it! LO loves it hardcore. Best toy ever.
I'm really partial to our stroller.

As many others have said, RnP! We have the snugamonkey but any one would do. It was where he slept, hung out when we we needed our hands free, super portable when going to other's homes, total lifesaver!
Honorable mention to our whole diaper changing setup, which consisted of a waterproof changing pad on top of his dresser, a wipes warmer, and a diaper genie. Yes, things other may consider to be unnecessary, but it made things so simple and easy for us.

Ktan, RnP, and video minitor( even though I hate the one we have, couldn't live without it)

Miracle blanket in the beginning, video monitor now. Both completely essential for us!

Video monitor is my new favorite thing (we just got one and LO is 9.5 months old), but before that I'd say the boppy. It is just so useful!
