I made some great friends about 10 years ago on the jack Johnson forums (the musician) - still keep up with most of them even though the forums themselves no longer exist. Fun secret that I haven't really told any irl friends, but one time a guy on the JJ forums that I became close to flew to my town so we could meet up and we ended up hooking up and having a secret relationship. He turned out to be a mega asshole but I still look back fondly cause it's so unlike me.
Nowadays, hello bee and the comment section on xojane are the only things I participate in.
