I'm not going to try to potty train til next summer, around 2.5 years old.
Just curious what potties people buy!
I'm leaning toward Bjorn, because I've read that the high back helps them feel secure.

Summer infant with the high back. It has a very similar design to the Bjorn but it's 1/3 of the price. LO loves sitting on the potty.

I got the Ikea one that looks very similar to the Bjorn but soooo much cheaper.

we got the arm and hammer potty ring that goes over the toilet. I didn't want to have to clean something out...he's gone on it already and I like that it has little handles.

I have no interest in cleaning a stand alone potty. We have had her sit on it before bath and other random times since she was 14 months and she actually asks to sit on it a lot. She has only peed once, though.

We got the Bjorn for home, the cheapie Ikea one for at grandparents houses, but quickly transitioned to toilet seats (the cushy ones with handles) because I didn't like cleaning out potties and my girls seemed to like feeling 'big' on the toilet. Ok by me!
