Swelling lingered for a good week or so after delivery (I had pg swelling and IV swelling *augh*), and I still have a two inch strip down the top middle of my left thigh that is still numb.

My swelling took a week to go away, hip pain went away right away. That was about it for my symptoms.

Reflux disappeared, as did the major foot pain I had been experiencing. Swelling actually increased due to Iv fluids!

I developed plantar fasciitis in my right foot during the end of my pregnancy that went away around 8-10 weeks post partum (it was by FAR my most painful pregnancy issue).
However that happened to coincide with the onset of DeQuervain's tendonitis in my right wrist/hand!
My swelling went away within a couple days as did the back/rib pain I was experiencing toward the end.

I developed high blood pressure while pregnant and had to deliver 3 weeks early because of it. It was back down to normal by the time I was in the recovery room. Also, if you as DH, I had a severe attitude problem that also went away by the time I hit the recovery room.

Heartburn! I was popping tums like candy during labor and while pushing. It was gone as soon as she came out. Haven't had it since.

Heartburn was gone in about 24 hours, but carpal tunnel lingered for about 6 months. It was awesome when I could start feeling my fingers again!
@Weagle: omg, me too, the heartburn was so bad, I couldn't concentrate on pushing! The nurse wouldn't give me anything for the heartburn, so I had my husband get them for me out of my purse and told her to turn her back.

I remember being in labor and being so annoyed that I still had heartburn. The moment baby was out, it was gone.

@Mrs. Bee -We are in the same boat. My carpal tunnel lasted two months. It was worst right after I had my son. I had 3 bags of IVs injected in me during 12 hours of labor which made my carpal tunnel worst the very next day after having my son. I could not hold him because my hands hurts so much the first week. I'm hoping that I do not have carpal tunnel again for my next pregnancy.

I had excruciating hip pain for the last couple of weeks (which was 23-25 weeks for me). I even had numbness.
The exact second he came out, it all went away. Amazing!

My ankles went back to normal size, carpal tunnel slowly went away, constipation, back pain, hip pain.
My feet stayed the same, they're now 1/2 size to a full size bigger. My eyesight isn't as good.
