My fav item lately has been my Boggs Classic winter boots, which I got after someone here recommended. I've lived in New England for nearly two decades and never spent the money on a pair of dedicated snow boots. So warm and such great traction - my commute involves a fair amount of walking and it was an ice rink/filthy snow heap this morning. They were sooo amazing!

Dyson cordless vacuum. I seriously don’t know how I lived without it. It’s SO easy to vacuum now.

@mrs.kiwi: I keep looking at their stick vacs. I love my Roomba, but the stairs and touch-up work or even the dog hair seems like it would be easier with a Dyson V8

@Sams Mom: @mrs.kiwi: After debating for years, I pulled the plug on a Dyson when there was an awesome black friday deal this year. Just in time for LO to turn into a cheerio spouting little cyclone. It is amaaaaazing...

@mrs.kiwi: @periwinklebee: Ok I keep getting signs from the universe that I need a Dyson stick vac...

Rothy's. They're so comfortable, versatile and I love that they can just be tossed in the wash. Plus, they dry really quickly. Also, it's not really a product, but, Lasik. Best thing I ever did for myself.

@periwinklebee: The original gravity blanket! It’s almost $300 but so worth it. Actually I got it last Valentine’s Day. Have used it every night since!

@Caly: everyone I know who has rothys loves them. When I’m not pregnant anymore and my feet return to normal size I might have to splurge on a pair.

@LadyDi: ya, definitely wait til your feet are back to normal! I'm actually wearing the Lemondrop Rothy's right now
@MRSBUCKY: all this Dyson stick talk is making me think I need to get one!

While I love my Dyson that I got for our wedding, I got a Shark stick vac and love it so much. I couldn't pull the trigger on the Dyson one!
I am really against all MLM companies but I broke down and bought the R&F eye lash boost for my wimpy lashes. When I remember to use it, it is awesome! I need to get back into the routine.

Hah, I didn't know most of these things even existed! I'm now tempted to do some window shopping

LLBean waterhog mats. Patagonia down sweater jackets. I'm sure I have more, will come back later!

Oh nooooo, every time one of these posts comes up I spend so much money! Last time I acquired myself the Essie Gel Set polish and a S'well canteen, both of which were worth every penny.
I do need a pair of black ballet flats, though....hmm...maybe I could order some to the hotel when we're in Disney in two weeks?

Dyson yes! Rothy’s don’t look right on my weird feet which made me sad.
I’ve been pleasantly surprised with the eyelash serums. It’s a lot of money but I lost almost half my eyelashes after my last loss and last baby (each time). Right now I’m using grande lash and they came back in so quickly (and then look amazing on top of that since they get so long).
I also get all my ideas from these dangerous threads

Yes to Rothy's! Also Disney Movie Club to start and grow our Disney movie collection. And my Nespresso and Ninja Coffee Bar because All The Coffee.
@bhbee: Have you tried the different styles? Loafers are my fave but I feel like the points look weird on my feet. They probably don't, but I get what you're saying.

@peachykeen: see this is why these threads are dangerous ... I didn’t know they had other styles! Off to look ...

@Caly: totally agree with Lasik! Unfortunately my eyes have gotten a little worse after 2 pregnancies. I know I need to get them checked but I dread having to go back to contacts or glasses, especially for a minor correction

@Caly: I think I'm going to get a pair when the weather gets better, have heard nothing but good things.

I love our Dyson so much!! I have always hated vacuuming, literally my entire life, and our V6 made it so much better. We upgraded to a V8 for the HEPA filter and I actually like the v6 better because it's so light.

@peachykeen: oh no, that's such a bummer! Is it possible to get a Lasik update, since your eyes have changed? My co-worker had Lasik YEARS (she's almost 60 now) ago and said her eyes have gotten a bit worse since then. She's mentioned going in and having them touched up.
@HELLOBEEBOSTON: yes, I think you must

@wrkbrk: I want a gravity blanket so badly....is it really worth it? Do you sleep under only it, or also a blanket? It's one-person-sized, right?
pomelo / 5084 posts
@erinbaderin: Yes, it is single-sized, if you will! Haha. I only use the gravity blanket. My wife would DIE - she hates stuff like that - so she has a buffy comforter (also highly recommend)! It is very worth it for me. Has helped tremendously with my insomnia. It really is comforting.

@SweetCaroline: YES! I got the Patagonia better sweater for Xmas and have worn it like every weekend day since! Now I want a second haha.

For those who love Rothy's, I read that they have no arch support. I do have custom orthodics so I could just put them in there but sometimes I have an issue with the shoe then slipping off my heels. Does anyone have any of these issues?
persimmon / 1005 posts
@Mommy Finger: I really don't like my Rothy's for several reasons, but no they do not have any support at all. They are completely flat and very thin. I'd equate them comfort and support wise to a pair of foldable ballet flats.

@periwinklebee: Yes!!! I had a pair of Sorel winter boots that I replaced with Bogs. Wow! Bogs are the best! The insulation is awesome too!

Lily Jade diaper/lifestyle bags! I know I have mentioned them before, but they are full grain leather, have amazing attention to detail, convert to backpack and are perfect for work and weekends with the kids.
