It depends on the dress, but for her holiday dresses, she has a pair of black patent mary janes.

Same as @mslipgloss for dressy. We have a few other pairs of See Kai Run Mary Janes she wears a lot with dresses or pants since they stay on so well.

@MsLipGloss: Whoa... tiny feet!!! M is in a 4.5 and almost fits in her 5s!!

I hate how stupid expensive good shoes are for babies so we don't have many. M has a pair of stride rides that are grey with silver sequins on them. They look like fancy sneakers and she pretty much wears them with EVERTHING. Then she has a pair of off white mary janes with flowers on the straps and she'll wear those for fancy dresses at Christmas.

@MamaMoose: We have 2 pairs we use for daycare, her dressy shoes (that she also wears to daycare occasionally), and 2 pairs waiting for her to be able to wear them. And yeah, they are pricey!

mary janes! I am always on the lookout for good shoe deals . . .

We are in size 3s and she prefers shoes that have a "hard" sole. I've had great luck with boots from Payless (her favorite) so we have them in every color (black, tan, brown, and purple), we also have a pair of Puma tennis shoes, black and gold mary janes from Gymboree, Sperry's, and a pair of black Tiny Toms which are still too big for her.

In the summer - sandals with dresses.

In the winter - mary janes with tights under dresses (for special outing/holidays/etc) OR leggings with socks under dresses with tennis shoes.

She very rarely wears dresses, but we have a pair of black dress shoes from Wal-mart that grandma gave her (but they are hard to walk in). If the dress is more casual, then she would just wear her black ugg like boots. We also have a pair of stride rite type mary janes from walmart that are white with a pink sole and pink bow.

@Mamaof2: this for us too! LO insists on picking out her shoes every day so she wears whatever she picks!
