I won’t let LO watch Spongebob. My niece was obsessed with him when she was younger and I got my fill then! I find his voice annoying.

I’m very picky about what I let my LO watch! Right now he’s into PJ Masks, Disney Cars movies, Pocoyo, and the occasional episode of Daniel Tiger. I can handle all of those!

Actually, I think B has pretty good taste. Right now we watch mostly Frozen, Spirit: Riding Free, and LEGO Batman. I didn’t love the Paw Patrol phase but it could have been worse.

As for little kid shows I hate Cailou. What I hate the most is the awful Disney drama shows that my 8 year old wants to watch. They're not allowed to watch those or Barbie life in the dreamhouse.

I don't really mind Caillou or Daniel Tiger or Super Why. I do, however, HATE Sid the Science Kid. It's just kind of creepy animation! But, I guess she learns from it, so it could be worse. And, I'm so glad Barney isn't popular anymore. My daughter doesn't know it exists. Phew!

@LemonJack: I HATE that show! One episode where everyone was trying to be at the front of the line for a store opening is what got it permanently banned.

My oldest is starting to like things that I find too violent. Trying to think what they are because I make him turn them off. Dinotrucks? TMNT. Some robo train show.

Mostly my oldest likes Brain Candy type shows and my 3 year old likes Thomas and Paw Patrol. I can deal with those.

I've always been pretty strict about what my kids get to watch, but to be honest, they've never really shown much interest in branching out. When they were younger, it was Dora (which I can't watch, but don't mind them watching), Clifford's Puppy Days, and Daniel Tiger. They never asked about much else, they rejected Sesame street, and I didn't offer many other options.

These days, at 3.5 and 5.5, it's currently allll about Cat & The Hat - they've recently added in a bit of Martha Speaks and Bubble Guppies (which I don't ever watch with them); the 3.5 year old likes a little bit of Sofia the First (which is what I vote for if I'm going to watch TV with them). So I don't really hate anything they watch - but to be fair, I don't know much about many other kids programs out there. They're starting to explore PBS Kids on their own, which I'm ok with, and occasionally they ask for something on Netflix, but want me to watch with them. I turn things off if I don't like the language (rudeness and butt/fart/underwear jokes are one thing that gets shows banned, stupid and pointless characters/plots are the other).

I banned Shopkins after about 5 minutes of one episode - fortunately they didn't like it either....and I limit the My Little Pony viewing quite a bit.

@cyndistar3: Like the terrible sitcoms with live actors? I think I could could totally guilty-pleasure watch those with my girls when they're a little older - in kind of an ironic yet not way!

I hate some of the more inane Netflix ones my toddler has found. Like Word Party, Bo on the Go, and just because of the voices and songs, Cat in the Hat.
