15 months, about 22lbs and in size 4 on the verge of going to 5s.
She moved to 4 just before the lower weight limit of the size. @20lbs and have been in 4s for a while!

LO is 9 months and almost 20 lbs and he's wearing size 3. He's been wearing size three for almost 6 months now. He does wear size 4 at night and those fit ok too.

@regberadaisy: What brand do you use and is there a reason you think you need size 5's @22 lbs?
We use the Target brand and DS is still in size 4's at 30 lbs with room. They go up to 37 lbs. He's been in 4's forever, ever since we had to switch from cloth.

@anbanan15: Huggies Little Movers. I don't find the lb range to be accurate! The 4s are starting to fit her small mainly bc she has a Buddha belly! And they are not as far up her back as I like them to be. So when I'm done with this box of 4s I'm moving to 5s.

@regberadaisy: Gotcha! I only ask because I found all the other brands to run small and the size range not accurate but feel the Target ones run large. DS used to be a baby Buddha too, but that was during our CD days so I have no clue how sposies fit then.

@Mrs. Chen: When did you switch to size 3s? Xander's only about ~14.5lbs, but I'm wondering if we should switch soon... the size 2s seem tight about his thighs, but I have no idea what I'm doing.

@Adira: L is 6.5 months and in 3's since he was almost 15 lbs. I switched when he started getting multiple leaks a day.

@regberadaisy: Yeah, I don't pay attention to the weight recommendations on diapers either.
LO is 15 months and in size 4s. We may be switching to size 5 after this big box is over. She's been in size 4s since she was 9 months--she has really chunky thighs and the size 3s just weren't fitting correctly.

@dagret: Thanks for the details! Xander's not too leaky, but sometimes has blowouts, so maybe we don't need to switch QUITE yet, but probably soon!

DS will be 23 months in 2 days (!!) and wears size 4 diapers. He weighs about 27lbs.

@Adira: you're welcome! yeah, the occasional leak i think is my fault, (We call it Failure to Dinker Down) but when you have 2-3 every day...that's when you know.

@dagret: haha, I try to be very conscious of making sure things are pointed in the right direction in the diaper! Although Xander makes it VERY difficult these days to change his diaper because he just KICKS like crazy!!! I've had to enlist Hubs to help hold him down so I can get the diaper rash cream on him!

@adira: we switched to size 3 around 6 months (15lbs). she probably could have stuck with size 2s a little longer but i was running low and had to buy new diapers anyway so figure minus well just bump her up. at first they look huge on her but she grew into them really fast! if you're having blowouts i would definitely make the switch!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@Mrs. Chen: Thanks for the info!! Sounds like I should just make the switch next time I have to buy diapers!
