My mom sang and sometimes played James Taylor "You Can Close Your Eyes" when I was really young. I sing it to my kids while I rock them to sleep! It's one of my favorites.

My dad, who doesn't ever sing now, had a bedtime song/rhyme for each of us when we were kids. Mine was the itsy bitsy spider. My brothers had 5 little monkeys and twinkle twinkle little star.

Hymns and Jingle Bells - I requested Jingle Bells every night once I started talking haha. My dad also used to sing an old John Denver song, Grandma's Feather Bed.
