I think the big ones my parents emphasized were hard work and integrity. I am inherently lazy, but I found ways over the years to trick myself into working hard. Integrity is something my mom exemplified, but mostly through her actions and not through her words — she didn't have a lot of sayings about integrity, as opposed to most everything else. 
What sort of values did your parents instill in you... and do you want your own kids to have as well?

My mom taught us to never brag/gloat/show-off even if it's well deserved - she taught us to be humble, modest, and to always care for the feelings of others.

Respect, hard work, integrity, honesty, appreciation. All things that I do not thing are taught enough in this country.
Those are all things we will teach our children. They will learn to show respect for others, especially their elders. They will learn to work for things. There's no free ride. They will get chores to earn their "allowances" Heck I got $20 as a high school senior! They will learn integirty and to be honest. No lying allowed. My husband's 4 year old niece lies like no tomorrow and still lies when you catch her in a lie. Drives me insane. They will learn to appreciate everything they have in life and not take it for granted. I want them to know that how many people out there have it way worse than they will. They will appreciate having a car in the family, a roof over their head, a warm bed to sleep in etc etc. So many kids these days take all these things for granted!!!

Work ethic, honesty/integrity, to care for others and treat them as we would want to be treated, and that we have a duty to give back (through work and charity). They also taught us to be self sufficient, and not rely on or expect anyone else to support you (financially or emotionally). To be a complete person on your own, to be independent and to expect to work for what you want in life.
I plan to instill all these lessons in LO.

Honesty was a huge one. Humility was also big... we were taught never to show off or gloat, and I still really dislike flashiness. I definitely want to teach those things to our kids.

Honesty was huge in our family, also owning up to your mistakes. It was a big deal for us to own up to our mistakes and not push the blame onto someone else or make excuses. This is one that I will use with our future LOs as well.
Nothing bothers me more as an adult than a coworker or acquaintance that makes excuses for a mistake they made instead of apologizing and owning up to it! Lying about it only makes a person look worse.

Never just say "NO" without giving a valid reason. My dad would always say no and his reason "because I said so" (which clearly isn't a reason) but my mom would always give us a reason why and we couldn't really argue... I loved that!

Respect others.
Work hard and try your best.
Be a good sport, be a good loser.
Don't lie, there will be repercussions.
Use Mrs and Mr when talking to adults.
