I really like Pampers, however, they can get expensive. With looking to cut down our budget, diapers are something we can cut back on. We have used Target brand and we had no issues with them. I am open to other store brand options though too.

@zippylef: Is that what you use regularly, or just if you need to?

@Bao: I hadn't used them until I flew home but I really like them. If I lived in the states, I would use them regularly. I tried the Walmart brand too and didn't like them as much.

@Bao: do you belong to costco? their diapers are supposed to be great. i hate white cloud from walmart & walgreens ones. luvs & target brand are fine. sometimes if you stack coupons and buy during sales you can get name brand for less than the generic. babycheapskate.com & thethriftycouple.com give a weekly diaper deal lists of online and in store sales.

@mrs. bird: No we do not belong to Costco. I do clip the diaper coupons though, and check the ads for sales, but I still have a hard time coordinating the coupons with the sale price when I need them.

@Bao: that's where those website come in handy!! like last week they had match ups to make jumbo packs of huggies less than $3 and pampers just a little over, so then you buy a few extra so you make it until you find another great deal. i like the way thethriftycouple lists the sale & coupons match ups, but babycheapskate lists lots of great items too =)

Target is the only store brand that I've used for several days at a time. I liked them. Our church stocks Kirkland brand, but she's never worn them more than an hour or two, and I don't think I can really make a judgement about them.

We usually use Huggies, in the beginning we used Kirkland brand and liked them. Switched back to Huggies because if the coupons.

@MerryC:
Have you noticed that Kirkland brand is now the same price as Huggies at Costco? I was so irritated whdn I saw that a few months ago. I like Kirkland better.

We just bought a box of BJ's brand to try out, so far no issues with them. $23 for 160 diapers...can't beat that!
