Natives and a pair of Old Navy flip flops for both kids. Debating whether to get Olive a pair of Saltwaters because once she has her Natives, she won't want to wear anything else. Maybe if I can find a used pair!
What about you?

Just bought a new pair of saltwater sandals for my daughter. We're going to Florida later this month. We went with yellow patent leather this year. I'm hoping they will prove to be as versatile as the white ones we had last year.

@Mrs. Bee: @mamabear57:
these?
What do you like about them? Do you wear socks with them? Are they good shoes for water play?

I just got her some pink crocs (here they are in silver). We had them last summer in silver and got so many compliments on them. I like that they stay on her feet, keep her from slipping at the splash park, and are easy to slip on and off

Do Keens count? Those will be her everyday and muck or yuck shoes. We found some really cute flat gold sandals at the kids exchange for cheap that I hope will fit her this summer. They kind of look like Salt Waters.

@Mamaof2: yes they are like a more stylish croc. you don't wear socks with them. i like that they stay on the feet because crocs can slip off.

She will wear Crocs and Natives. I bought the Natives used on HB Classifieds!

I'm not sure. He had some leather stride rites last year that we really loved. I may go to the kids shoe store and see what they have later this spring.

I dunno. Last year he had Crocs, and I loved them, especially since we played in the water a lot.

I really want to get him a pair of natives! And maybe a pair of Saltwater sandals, but I've heard that some of they can be uncomfortable, so we'll see how they fit.

we have two pairs of crocs. not sure if they'll be too small or not, but will get a pair of natives if necessary. oh and we have a pair of black leather 'dressier' summer sandals from SKR. And flip flops from last summer that'll probably fit him this summer

I bought a pair of saltwaters used off classifieds and a pair of Nikes and one Keen like. I think I Just want maybe a pair of flip flops for the backyard and that's probably it unless I find a really cute pair cheap. Actually I think I might have to keep a pair of water play shoes at daycare...

I already got her a pair of fake Crocs on vacation. I'm not planning on getting her anything else because it can be rainy during the summer; most kids around here are in rainboots.

Natives! I buy a pair for DS every summer, and he loves them. It can be hard to find though.

Crocs, Natives, and a pair of Mini Melissas.
@yin: Nordstroms is selling them again and they're in stock!

Going to give natives a try this summer!
Bought a pair of saltwaters last summer, but they got worn only a handful of times. She refused to wear them, and preferred her Crocs.

@yin: @3littlebees: @mamabear57: @Mrs. Bee: are they good for play, climbing, running, etc? They look neat and I like the waterproof aspect, but the picture doesn't make them look very comfortable or flexible for running around.

I bought DS some tan Salt Waters off brickyard buffalo recently but will probably be on the lookout for some Nike or Natives as well.
Has anyone tried the Native knockoffs by iPlay? I saw them at buy buy baby and they look like an exact dupe.

@lamariniere: My active kids lived in Natives last summer. Although they are super easy to take off and on, they stay put so I don't have to worry about a shoe flying off when one of them is running. They're also very flexible...more flexible than Crocs.

I bought her several pairs of flip flops, a pair of Nike sandals for Daycare, she has tennis shoes, and I'll get her a pair of Crocs for waterplay.
