Insisted I take a nap this afternoon. I haven't slept yet, but it is kinda nice to be excused to retreat from the world for a little while.

He took dd for an hour the last two mornings so I could sleep in. It's amazing how much better I feel at 7:30 vs. 6:30~!

He did the grocery shopping this morning, let me take a nap this afternoon, and handled LO's giant blow out about an hour ago. I think I'm most grateful for the last thing!!

DW prepared a different breakfast for LO this morning so that I wouldn't be forced to ... well, watch him ignore me and his breakfast until waterworks or nap time.
Pineapple, yoghurt, and daddy: no way.
Strawberry, apple, and mommy-helping-daddy-out: oh, yes.

he cooked dinner tonight. And cleaned up after we fought about it. We had a great day yesterday, today not so much

Best thing was that he went to the grocery store and cooked dinner without me asking! Tilapia, roasted beets, and corn on the cob!

My DH changed the code on the program he is working on, just to be cute. When he was showing me what the program does & he clicked on the "easy button" (yes he put in an easy button lol). It said "I love my Wife and our Baby Children". He switched it back because it was for work but it sure got cute nerd points from me.

He fixed dinner and insisted I just sit and relax. He was out at a bachelor party all day yesterday, so it was nice to be waited on today.

He took me baby shopping 3hrs away! And put up with my indecisive personality all weekend!

Yesterday he insisted I take a nap, did the grocery shopping, and best of all, surprised me with patbingsu (a shaved ice dessert) because he remembered that a few days ago i mentioned how I haven't had any yet all summer!!

He took an extra shift at work this morning, even thought he really needed a break. Money has been tight, and it meant so much to me that he would give up his free time to make a little moo-lah!

My family came over to celebrate my moms bday & DH helped clean before their arrival, grilled and even rubbed my back after they left since it was killing me. He's such a sweetie

I'm supposed to be elevating my feet as much as possible because of swelling, so he cleaned the entire house yesterday and installed the car seat.

Yesterday he made plans for us to visit our SIL (who I haven't seen in a while and missed terribly). Today he took E out with him to run some errands so I could work on dinner/take a shower without a little-bit pulling on my legs.

He came to my mother's club potluck even though I could tell he didn't want to. He had a great time with the other dads.
He helped clean up before my cousin came over to meet LO and offered to drive her back to the train at the end of the night so I could have some wine.
Today he gave me a break when I started having a little meltdown, even though he was fighting a cold. I'm pretty lucky to have him.

He wore E in the Ergo at lunch so I could eat like a normal person! Nothing cuter than a babywearing man!

I can't think of anything specific...He did lots of little things. We just had a really great day together Yesterday he kept DS so I could go to the gym and grab some coffee. It cut into his sleep schedule (he works nights) so I really appreciated it.

He cleaned the entire place (toilet, even!), gave me a backrub after my long day on Friday, and let me sleep until Noon on Saturday (1st tri is making me a zombie!). Then he came home with cleaned laundry and groceries. To top it off, today he promised (without hesitation) to read some birthing books, and then took me out for ice cream. Seriously, I couldn't be more appreciative right now!

He was a solo-parent to A all weekend, from Friday afternoon through Sunday because I was out of town at a women's retreat.

Took me to the American Market so I could get some goodies on Saturday, he walked the dog I am boarding both mornings so i could sleep in. woke up to breakfast on Sunday, (omlette and toast) And he did all the shopping, and a good chunk of the cleaning for our cook-out yesterday. None of this is out of the ordinary for him, love my DH!

My DH has been beyond incredible since DD and I came home from hospital Friday evening. He took complete control that first night because I was so tired, handling nappy changes, feeds etc. Then Saturday, he went to the shop for nipple shields for me (!!), did a load of grocery shopping, some laundry, all while pitching in at least 50% with baby care.... He has been my biggest supporter during a difficult breastfeeding journey to date, whilst equally putting zero pressure on me to succeed. Basically he has surpassed every expectation I could have ever had of a daddy and a husband. Soppy outburst over!

He helped me clean up at our lake house before the renters arrived yesterday, without me even having to ask. We've been having a lot of "dscussions" lately about needing things to be more of a 50/50 split, so it meant a lot that he did it on his own.

@Cherrybee: d'aaww
DH cooked dinner last night (which is incredibly rare), he ran me a bath and then rubbed my head while I soaked, he put a lot of time and work into refinishing a toy for LO, he complimented my cooking (which he never does) and has been sending me flirty texts all morning.
I'm just so into him lately. He never does annnnyyy of those things but we had a come-to-Jesus meeting and I think he really listened to what I need from him and is doing his best to make me feel loved.

DH and his friend took DS off my hands for a little while so that all I had to worry about was taking care of little miss, who was being clingy.

ETA: And bought one for me!

On Saturday night, I was losing it with lack of sleep since my baby is in the midst of a terrible sleep regression. DH told me he loved me and I was Supermom. Then he took the monitor and went to sleep in the guest room and let me sleep for almost 7 straight hours. Ah bliss. What a sweetie. Especially since little guy was up every hour for DH.

@Cherrybee: So cute. Isn't it great when you get to see them really step up as a daddy and husband? Makes me love DH that much more.

He gets huge brownie points, he finally secured all our TVs to the wall, finished baby proofing, and went grocery shopping by himself. We usually do it together but I had a party that I took LO too and he did it when we were gone! Loved it!

I've been out of town and he scrubbed and cleaned our whole bathroom! I hate cleaning the bathroom and I'm always the one stuck cleaning it, so it was really nice that he did it this time

I threw one of my best friends a bridal shower at my house (and I'm 38 weeks preg!). DH spruced up the whole backyard, helped clean the kitchen, helped me pick up all the rentals, and did the floral arrangements. He was a lifesaver!
